I read my Bible daily and I worry about using the name Jesus erroneously because he is dead. Another person, due to anachronism, a different time, a different place about the name Jesus, could be validly hurt without knowing it or my meaning to be hurtful.

What about the ESV bible? I tell you that we have been given the choice to choose our version of the Holy Bible, but KJV isn't the only version of the bible that teaches the word of God. There is nothing wrong with a bible such as the ESV which is word for word, that translate into the modern English language. Having "Ye"'s, "thou"s, "thy"s doesn't make the bible more credible. After all if you think the KJV is the true bible, then the true bible isn't in English, but Greek and Hebrew. However God grants us to hear his word through our own languages across the world. I love this movie! I’ve watched it a dozen of times! I was lost when I watched it after my dad died. I was broken, too. From there I started learning more about Christ again since I had left Him. Also there is nothing wrong with the bible version that has been used for this visual bible experience. It has the stamp of approval from Jesus Christ. It proclaims the gospel of John very well. It helps connect people with scripture, and to visually understand it. This helps people make sense of the Gospel of John. This film has helped bring Jesus' lost sheep to his flock. It's a beautiful thing what these filmmakers have done with modern film production, with the scriptures of the Gospel of John.
