I tried to apply the COMP MBE QC and I found that to get the right result of GOR you should multiplied the equation by the inverse of whole sample stock oil M.Wt as following GOR= 1/Slope x 379.5 x oil density *(1/whole sample Stock Oil M.WT)*5.6145
so funny to hear this story about the loss of 2 bln.$ because of the wrong fluid type, that became an urban legend traveling from one country to another... :) such investment decisions into the construction of the plant are not based on just one sample
