    This Album means the world to me, because I got to work with one of the greatest guys on this planet, "Mike Francis" he was my best friend. He gave me the opportunity to write and sing on this great album, along with Davide Romani we were the dynamic trio RIP my dearest friend. Don't let our good work go to waste Davide, Peace...

      @Ron DayVoo Quite likely hard to find. Though the album was released in 2010, the entire album was recorded in _1990._ When last I read, a budgetary situation made the intended release in 1990 impossible. I gather they were also dealing with Jacques Fred Petrus' death in 1987. They could not keep this album on ice any longer, following the death of Mike Francis (Francesco Puccioni) the year before (2009)

      Mike Francis, One of the best singer songwriter ever in Italy music scene. Gone too soon.
      But glad that Italy always have a good music people. David Florio also remind me of him too 🙂

    This album may have strength and weakness. But I easily clicked on this album because it's cool to see Change updated the sound very well. It's remind me of 90s stuff from Paul Hardcastle, Shakatak (Which was Acid-Jazz oriented) Patrick Boothe vocal also remind me of James "Crab" Robinson too 🙂
    And I'm also a fan of Mike Francis too. Good to see him involve in this album 🙂
    This album may have some weak song (Like "Pussycat") but not ruined the whole album. At least I'm glad that Change didn't went to Eurobeat / Eurodance (It would not work, But maybe funny direction if on that time they doing this way)

    That 11th track, "Happy Ending", sounds _very much_ like classic Change, but set to a 1990 beat.

      Also remind me of song that produced by Paul Hardcastle in 90s era :) Also Incognito.

    The new ‘complete recordings’ box set of all of Change’s albums, singles and remixes, ironically called “Everything And More” completely omits this entire album from the line up!!! A bit odd but no explanation as to why this was left off the set!

      Patrick Boothe it’s a superb album. I was rather disappointed when I bought the set and found this was missing! I had to buy it separately which rather negates the boxset title “Everything And More”!!

      probably because it wasn't released on a major label.

    They were better with the production team that consisted of Jaques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi, Davide Romani and of course they reached their full potential with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis they picked up where the original producers left off didn't miss a beat and as far as vocals it was Luther Vandross first who was replaced byJames "Crab" Robinson and Rick Brennan and female vocalist Deborah Cooper

    Ciao, chiedo a Original Disco culture, se può contattare Malavasi o i veri change, cioè la formazione italiana dal 1980 al 1082, per recuperare i filmati delle loro uniche apparizioni TV, RAI TV ITALIANA, aprile 1980 e giugno 1980 a Discoring e Domenica In... per favore, sarebbero delle perle che tutti cerchiamo

    Luther vocal?

    • @klingkliang
      @klingkliang 3 роки тому +1

      Luther only did his vocals on the first 2 albums on a handful tracks, mostly backing only. This album came out in 2010. Luther passed in 2005.

      @@klingkliang This album actually record in 1990 but when unreleased until 2010. Patrick Boothe on lead Vocal and Mike Francis sharing lead vocal in "Time for Us" ("Friends" actually a covered version from Amii Stewart song in 1984 that Mike Francis wrote it, Mike also recorded his own version "Way You Want Me" in 1995 with a lots of different lyrics and music mood)

    I like this but not enough to spend 90 dollars on it. Their first 2 albums were almost too good to be true. They started using outside writers on the albums after that and it really affected the quality of the music. I liked the work they did with Jam and Lewis but it represented them more than the band in my opinion. Turn On Your Radio and This Is Your Time are best forgotten.

    • @kidwaryodproduction
      @kidwaryodproduction Рік тому

      Turn On Your Radio actually have a good song that too good too pass "Let's go together" and "Mutual Attraction"
      Debra Cooper vocal was the best thing I ever heard.
      Even "Turn On Your Radio" have a very good guitar riff and structure. Sounds like walking in a groovy move 🙂

      @@phillipwattsjr.4714 It may have good (Friends, Happy Ending) and bad song (Change Your Mind, Pussycat) but it wasn't bad either. If you like 90s R&B, Acid Jazz, Sophisti-Pop like Paul Hardcastle, Shakatak, Jaki Graham and even Mike Francis. It would be more easier to clicked with this album :)
