Ernie Haase & Signature Sound sang this at the Southwest Gospel Music Festival, which was held in Phoenix, Arizona at Grand Canyon University February 13-15, 2014. Vocal members are founder/tenor Ernie Haase, lead Devin McGlamery, baritone Doug Anderson, and bass Paul Harkey. Rounding the group out in the instrumental section are Wayne Haun (piano/arranger/producer) and David Griffith (bass guitar). Great singers, but I bet George and Glenn never choreographed dance moves into their songs. I think that and the hairdos take away from how good they are, at least it looks like they got rid of the terrible ties they were doing for a while. Ernie is 50 years old not 17, these guys are too good for that foolishness.

I think perhaps Ernie hopes to appeal to the younger generation, and feels called to do so. You have to realize there is not many doing anything particularly to attract a younger crowd, and if we don't win them, the Christian faith will diminish rapidly. Do you realize that we are only one generation from extinction? We have to win them. Maybe we should be praying for Ernie and not being critical?

What's going to happen when NO one tries to appeal to the younger generation? We are only one generation from Christianity becoming extinct. If we don't win them, who will? Ernie tries so intently to have something fun to offer. Can we not do well to support him, and praise the Lord that someone is doing what the past two or three generations fave failed to do? I pray he's successful with his efforts! God Bless Ernie Haase and SS guys. Amen?
