While I like your synopsis ...should we probe too deeply into people's motivations, aspirations, and goals yet unrealized? Especially when their lives are almost over-exposed & on video every day. The word "alchemy" comes to mind ...and also "privacy". Alchemy, in that many things in a person's life need a veil of privacy and even secrecy to develop ...Just like a seed needs the darkness of the earth that covers it in nature's secret void of alchemy that gives nutrients and hallowed time for growth, so that the seed begins to stretch for the surface and break forth into the sunshine. Our most private goals and aspirations need the alchemy of secrecy, privacy, and room to blossom forth into reality ...before revealed to all. The cooking equipment and serving crockery and utensils etc but the kitchen is used by staff for meals and breaks too. It’s the gathering place for LaLanders.
The staff should not be eating in that kitchen, OR they should continue but Marie should have a proper commercial kitchen made with stainless steel surfaces for all of the equipment needed by a professional chef.
Marie has to function in tight quarters,her prep space is shared with a blogger,dish fanatic(sorry Phillip) house staff,all cumming's and goings ,dogs,cats and peacocks.Her fridge,stove,pantry,dish washing room and prep surfaces are all subject to changes.I think she deserves an award for keeping her cool.This is not a job it is a calling.
...and yet it is a country Bed & Breakfast ...AND a Private Home at the same time. Everyone needs to eat & everyone is responsible for their own breakfast, and presumably their own lunch. So staff & family which are often the same thing ...they all have to make room for each other.

It's great that Marie is happy. It's a real blessing to feel contented with your own company in life, single or not. Marie is such a talented person. She's a gifted florist and I marvel at how she has turned her hand to cooking. Her creations are incredible.
Perhaps Amery needs to make mug storage? A plank of wood with cup hooks, & on a hinge to raise it out of the way & lower it for easy access! Where they are, looking for the right one, is near impossible & getting to it could be dangerous to the ones in front😢!!!

Marie is happy as is I was the same until I was 44 years young and sat down at a picnic table at yacht club where my twin docked their boat not big fancy boat but invited to a pot luck dinner ! Then Joe sat across from me saw that big smile on this big handsome guy ! That was it I had bought my own home happy working full time for the same company for 24 years never thought that would meet anyone but married 5 years later was the best thing sadly Joe passed in early 2020 but no regrets he made me laugh every day so unexpected to me that would meet my soul mate at 44 It just happened !So keep doing what you are doing now sad still without my big guy but back to my old single days still in our small brick bungalow just 8 minutes to beautiful Lake Huron still a member at the local yacht club Which still work at with best view on the great Lakes in Ontario Canada where I moved to after I met Joe ! So keep doing what you are doing if It happens yes but enjoy every day loving life as it is is okay also ! 😀😍

Yes, it is great to see Marie so happy AND confident! I can remember a time in her vlogs on her channel when she was incredibly depressed for a long period. Her situation seemed so oppressive and hopeless at the time, you could see that she felt like it would never change no matter where she was. She is gradually increasing her self esteem, nice.

In an ideal world there would be a separate catering kitchen, but I assume that's not possible.

Love your chipped cup. We always say that the chipped dish is the lucky one! It is lucky it didn't totally break. So we keep it around to remind us, and most of the time someone in the family will comment when another person has "the lucky one!" 😉
