INSPIRATION✨CREATIVITY✨VISION
I began my art journey early on in life, first with a sketchbook, then I tried portrait realism, and when I discovered abstract fluid painting, I became addicted. I love various art forms, but modern contemporary art is what I gravitate towards. Whether it's visualizing furniture placement or mixing paint for an acrylic pour, I'm in my happy place when I create. Color evokes emotion in so many ways, and I can only hope that my videos will inspire, lift you, or put a smile on your face. Thank you for coming on this journey with me!

Excellent painting. I made a marble painting twice by accident. Now I remember how I did it after watching you. So I can replicate it again in the future. Thank you.
No duplicates in fluid art, but definitely go for it again. This is such a classy type of stone and I love creating it. Thank you for watching!🖌☺
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns Amen to that. I made one with green once, accident, and it was lovely. I just want to use the technique again to make more of this type.

@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns My pleasure dear!

Thank you!😁🎨
Omg that’s awesome😍
Thank you so much! ☺
I've watched a few of your videos on creating marble effects, they are very beautiful, I want to restore an old bass drum shell from the 1930s that had light cream green and olive green, that's what was on it originally, unfortunately another alot of the paint was worn down. Now it needs to be restored.
It is a drum shell 24 "in diameter and 12 "width.
What kind of paints do you use, and have you ever tried it on a cylindrical surface? I would greatly appreciate any advice from you, your work is breathtaking. Thank you so much, you are a very gifted artist. ❤
Hi, I haven't tried it on a cylinder surface, but you can use acrylic paint on most surfaces. You would need to use resin for the application or seal it with a spray varnish to protect the design. I suggest practicing on another surface before proceeding. Many artists pour on guitars and other objects, and it turns out fabulous. I'm glad you enjoy my work! 🙂 Have fun!
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns I play, and collect old vintage drums and I love to restore them back to their original condition, when I saw your beautiful work, I thought that would be great for the drum I'm working on, I just don't know how to keep it from rolling all over the place on the round surface
God bless you Shannon 🙏 ❤
@@johndorohovich3367 You as well!! 😊
So beautiful. Please recommend what butane torch and fuel you prefer and where you purchase it. Thanks w Roxanne, what are the dimensions?, what are the dimensions?
Wondering if you &/or anyone else using it think Artist Loft changed their Flow White formula back to how it was 2yrs ago? I've only been painting for 2yrs but def noticed a difference myself using that for base paint when I started vs sometime last yr. when others noticed it not working as well so figured I'd ask! 😁
Yes , I've recently started noticing various changes so I'll probably only use it on the base. I also find it clumps very easy. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns Thanks for your reply!😊 Knowing what to use for base coat has been frustrating but I'm excited to try your Pearl recipe as that's my fav type of pour! Thanks again!!!
Love it! 😍😍😍
I love marble stone it's so elegant and stunning! If you haven't already, check out my "Marble Stone" playlist. Thank you watching!🖌☺
Just beautiful! What did you mix your paint with, epoxy, water or pouring medium?
Hi, you can find all of the details for this pour in the video description. Thank you for watching!🖌☺
I want to make this so bad. Looks beautiful. Do you just let it dry or spray something on it so its beautiful to hang on the wall?
I don't resin my pours, but I do varnish/seal them.
Its beautiful can I leave out the bronze will I get the same look
Yes, you can leave it out but that will change the color blend and the result.☺
I love this! I want to do this on my counter top. I'm new to this and would love advice on how to accomplish this without the tilting because the counter is affixed to the cabinet, of course 😊
You would have to epoxy resin it using acrylic paint. I haven't used resin yet but I will be very soon so stay tuned because I will show you how to do it. Thank you for watching!☺
TaWanna how did your countertop turn out? I'm planning on doing this to my bathroom and I want to cover it with epoxy. I would love to know how it worked for you.
Hi,
I haven't actually tried it yet. I hope to soon and I will definitely post a picture.
Hi,

@@tawannasmith6258 please do
Did you have to cover it with anything extra after it dried?
You can resin or varnish it. I used Liquitex Gloss PM. 🙂
😍
Absolutely beautiful. What can I use to keep the glossy/wet look?
High gloss varnish or resin it. Thank you!🖌😊
Love this so much I subscribed! What did you use at the end? It looked like a spray?
Can you be a bit more specific? Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and welcome to the Artistic Family!.🙂

@@kmay1201 Oh that, lol it's my little torch to remove the air bubbles. ☺
I loved your technic. Thank you for sharing? What is the thing that you applied while spreading ? And why do you need that?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean? I only used the paint, a cup and I torch at the end to remove air bubbles. Thanks.☺
Amazing craftsmanship. Which software do you use for editing?
Thank you.😁 Pic Collage for pictures. I just use the video editor that came on my phone.
U used alcohol ink or resin?
Neither. No additives just Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium. Sorry it took me so long to respond.🙂
Beautiful Sis , what did you use to get so shiny? Love it .
I just mix Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium in with my paint. It does dry shiny, but the close up is when it's wet.🎨 Thank you for watching! ☺
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns Thank you Sis , so satisfying to watch . Are you selling your work ?
Hello mam, am from India... Kerala state..Can I do acrylic Pouring in framed Canvas?? I already had my canvases framed... later I thought of pour art .. Is it possible??
You can frame acrylic pours but if it's already framed just tape it off.☺
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns okay mam. ..will try...
😍😍😍😍
Can it be done on cotton fabrics?
Hi, you can use acrylics on just about anything but I have no experience with pouring on fabric. It's only paint so give it a try. Thank you for watching.🖌☺
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns I saw a video last night about marbling fabric and using paint and water. Marbling fabrics, ebru style
Are you spraying something on top when you’re finished? That’s what it looks like.
No, I torch most of the time to get out the air bubbles.
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns can a heat gun be used to get the bubbles out?
Is it posible to do this on a very large canvas like 1metre x 1.2
You can do any pour on any size canvas you want.☺
💋♥️👍👏
how long does it usually take to dry?
It really depends on how thick your paints are and of course, the size of your canvas, but this one was dry to the touch within 24 hours. Not cured for about a week or so. Thank you for watching!🖌😊
How did you get the cells? Did you use silicone oil? If so, how much?
No, I never use silicone. I create natural cells with a combination techniques, and how I pour. If you're interested, check out my tips & tutorials playlist. Thank you. ☺🎨
Did you put silicone oil in it + possible color names please
I don't use silicone or Floetrol. A list of my products are in the video description.Thank you for watching!☺
what you used for the end? for this "glow" :)
I put Liquitex gloss pouring medium in my paints. It's very shiney, other than that my mix is pretty basic.Thank you ☺
Did you mix varnish in paint before pouring?
No, I just use my paint and Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium. It's very glossy.😁
Do you mix it in your separate paints before pouring?
@@fantasianobles5733 Yes, I use it as a pouring medium in all my paints.
What type of hardner do u use
Not sure what you mean by hardner. I did not use resin if that's what you're asking? ☺
G
Beautiful
Thank you 🖌😊
How long do you leave it to dry??
With the size of the canvas, along with the temperature, about 24 hours or so. 🙂
