Yes, I'm me. Thanks for watching! As for stories from this one... not as many as it wasn't as bananas as AP2. While there were certainly shenanigans the most interesting are, unfortunately, locked under an NDA. So only after I'm dead! Although one detail from the marketing campaign in the UK I love is their poster tagline: "This time, Jim's taking Michelle up the aisle..." Fucking genius.
The simple fact that Stiffler being in a G bar, and thinking he can't physically best Bear...he decides to pull a Star Lord and Dance Battle with him lol Priceless.
Stiffer dancing in the club is always the funniest part. many people wonder why the guys even hang around Stiffler but honestly, Stiffler is the most resourceful. A lot of stuff happens because of him I mean, Jim met his future wife at Stiffler‘s party. He’s an integral part of the group.
The Craig Perry comment is real. He has commented on other channels reactions and he's even appeared on a couple content creators' channels discussing the films. I think he produced the final destination franchise too if memory serves. He really loves seeing other people's reactions.
American Reunion definitely course corrects and fixes a LOT of the flaws that were present in this movie, great return to form. Look forward to you guys watching it!
Yea I do kinda wish they at least delayed the production until the actors missing could be in the movie. Don’t worry there in the next movie. Also I kinda want them to make 1 final movie with them all being the parents with kids in high school going through what they did. Also it would be funny to see Jim in the role his dad was
Bear is played by Eric Allan Kramer. He was the first Thor (from The Incredible Hulk Returns 1988). He was also the father on the great Disney channel sitcom Good Luck Charlie.
The opening and closing song Laid has actually been used for every American Pie trailer. It's heavily associated with this franchise. This happens to be the first time it's used in an actual AP movie but it brought a nostalgic mood with it, even though this movie was only released 4 years after the first.
The bachelor party was slightly cut down for the theatrical, no Finch in a wig, no costume changes by "Mr. Belvedere", and some of the dialogue was cut for time.
can't wait for American Pie Reunion Reaction....and on a personal thought i really hope in the near future there will be a American Pie Family Vacation...where all of the OG Characters come back who would have their own High School Senior Teenage Kids and throughout the film it has wild funny crazy moments on the Kids antics and in between there are many wild funny crazy antic moments with the Original AP Characters involving their past.
@cazper420 My favorite as well. Saw it the first time on screen in 1984 when I was six. It was in "Smokey and the Bandit". Always said I'll buy it one day. I did. In 2003. A "79 model. It's long gone. It never was the fastest nor the most powerful. But the prettiest. I've driven many cars since. But I have never felt better and more free than behind the wheel of my Firebird.
Jim's dad is in: American Pie American Pie 2 American Wedding American Pie Presents Band Camp American Pie Presents The Naked Mile American Pie Presents Beta House American Pie Presents The Book of Love American Reunion
I’ve always thought the trilogy was a good representation of progress from high school to adulthood. Jim is the main character who goes from awkward to confident. Kevin and Vicki were the main couple who didn’t last and now likely aren’t in touch often. Oz found love with Heather and the two of them have moved on with their lives. Finch and Stifler had mutual friend in the group and eventually became part of the group while becoming real friends themselves. American Reunion is a perfect ribbon on the overall series.
I highly recommend watching American Pie: Band Camp than skip the rest and go right to American Pie: Reunion it doesn't have any of the OG cast, but I personally really enjoyed it 😀.... I may be alone 😅
There is a deleted scene where they reference Oz. That he and his girlfriend were over in Europe at the time, and couldn't make it back to the wedding. As for Klein, he has stated, OZ was never written for the movie, so, he never turned it down.
Best movie wedding (just my opinion, and actually it’s probably the best reception) is Letters to Juliet, best wedding movie is either The Wedding Singer or The Wedding Date.
I feel Steve was always like that friend from outside the inner circle of the OG 4. With this movie centered more on Steve joining the inner bro zone by the end of this movie. You can tell when everyone tells him to leave especially Jim Steve had his true inner feelings hurt
To quote Finch in the first American Pie movie: "We were friends with Stifler?" Stifler was basically Chris Ostreicher's friend and was largely only TOLERATED by Jim, Finch, and Kevin. This WAS, in point of fact, established from the beginning. The relationship dynamics are implied in the first movie: Stifler was Chris's friend and Chris became friends with Kevin; Jim and Finch were friends and (likely) Finch became friends with Kevin. Logically, if Chris, Kevin, Finch, and Jim had the connection of being a friend to one of the other guys in the group, that made Stifler the odd-man out by default. It would have always been Chris saying, "Hey, do you guys mind if I bring Steve along?" Or, Stifler was basically always inviting himself along for the ride, to the point that Jim and Finch just stopped objecting to him coming along.
I think what must have been a factor is Sean William Scotts star was simply on the rise. This is essentially his film after being a background character for 1 and 2. He had dude wheres my car, the rundown, evolution, bulletproof monk and a bunch of cameos all in a 2 or 3 year window. Love it but its almost a solo movie
Fantastic reaction as always but I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how consistently you guys show love to your editors; they do a consistently fantastic job ❤
You should definitely watch more Sean William Scott movies. Goon, The Rundown, and Bulletproof Monk are worth the watch. Great reaction to another fun film!
I already know that I'm going to enjoy this Aaron and John reaction! 😊 This one is one of my favorites along with the next movie in the "American Pie" movie series. Already looking forward to "American Reunion" next up. I also very highly recommend finishing up the "Police Academy" movies. 2 - 5 are just as funny as the first one. Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
This was actually the first American Pie movie that I saw, and that guy around 21:00 who dance-off with Stiffler, he played this unnamed cadet in Star Trek 2009 :D 39:00 - The father's reaction to the whip cracks me up xD 46:10 - OH LAWD, I FORGOT ABOUT THIS SCENE FOR 20 YEARS!! The second was really Jim's movie and everyone one else was basically just around. This one is really the first movie where Stifler gets a proper arc, even though its Jim getting married.
I rewatch the series because of you and damn I thought it would have old weirdly but no, seriously it's hold up. T'il the Reunion which is just a perfect ending. Can't wait to see your last reaction on these movies.
This is the weakest for me out of the four main American Pie movies. I'm disappointed Tara Reid, Natasha Lyonne, Mena Suvari and Shannon Elizabeth didn't return for this one. I think Wedding was a missed opportunity to have their characters pair together to be bridesmaids for Alyson Hannigan's Michelle. I wanted to see them become friends and throw a crazy wild bachelorette party. We never saw all these women together in one scene from any of the other movies.
Would be lovely to have them back, but makes more sense that they aren't there. They weren't friends with Michelle and Jim only really had a "relationship" with Nadia, but that would be a little awkward. Only one that could make sense was if Oz was in it and then Heather with him.
@@Gadeberg90 well to be fair it’s a film, and they’re known characters, so it wouldn’t be odd for them to be in this one. If anything it was more weird for this film to focus so much on Stifler. They did what they wanted with the actors they could get.
@@alexp601 Not necessarily sometimes the schedules just don't work out. Also of course they focused on Stifler after all he was the most popular character from the movies so could as well give him some development. And it does make sense that he would practically blackmail his way into attending.
@@Gadeberg90 yep it made sense because they made it make sense in the story of the film. Just like if Sean William Scott wasn’t available or had enough availability for a cameo, they would have made it make sense for the other characters to be more in focus and get the other actors in if they were available. My point is that they didn’t have the other actors available and they chose to focus on Stifler, who wasn’t a close character to the others. If they had access to the missing actors they would have easily included them. So it doesn’t matter if a character ‘makes sense’ in the film or not. They did what they wanted with the actors they had.
Another great one. Reunion is my least favorite of the 4 main films, but it’s still really good. I enjoyed the spin offs also, but they are not as good as the main ones.
