Brothers and sisters, let us pray together here. May God give us confidence to face all difficulties. Please calm down and pray together
    Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you with gratitude, because you are the Lord who created the heavens and the earth, our refuge and strength, and our help at all times in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) Lord, we praise you for your endless faithfulness, because your love lasts forever. (Psalm 100:5)
Lord, in this turbulent world, we often feel helpless and even discouraged by the predicament in front of us. But your words tell us: ""Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."" (Hebrews 11:1) Lord, we are willing to rely on faith and look to you alone, because you are the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
Lord, you have revealed the power of faith to us many times in the Bible. In the story of Abraham, though he was old and frail, he believed in your promise by faith: “You will be the father of many nations.” (Genesis 17:4) Even though it seemed impossible to ordinary people, he “did not waver in unbelief at the promise of God, but was strengthened in faith and gave glory to God.” (Romans 4:20)
Lord, we often feel weak like Abraham when faced with situations we cannot understand. May we remember that your faithfulness will not change. You said in Isaiah: “My thoughts are higher than your thoughts, and my ways than your ways.” (Isaiah 55:9) Lord, we believe that your plan is far greater than we can imagine, and we are willing to walk by faith even if we cannot see the road ahead.
Lord, we know that faith is not about avoiding suffering, but about relying on you more deeply in suffering. As Peter says, ""The testing of your faith will prove to be of greater value than gold, which perishes though tested by fire."" (1 Peter 1:7) Lord, please give us the strength to not retreat in trials, but to trust you more firmly.
In Job's life, he experienced great suffering, but he still said, ""The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord."" (Job 1:21) Lord, please give us the same faith as Job, so that even in the face of loss and pain, we can be full of hope because of our faith in your sovereignty.
Lord, our faith is not just knowledge in our heads, but action in our lives. James reminds us, ""Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by works, is dead."" (James 2:17) Lord, we are willing to act in faith, whether it is helping those in need or bravely sharing the gospel, we are willing to express our trust in you through actions.
Lord, just as you called Peter to walk on water, we are willing to believe in your power in the impossible. (Matthew 14:29) Although we may be afraid of the wind and waves like Peter, you reached out your hand to support him. Lord, when we are afraid of the challenges of the environment, please reach out your hand and strengthen our faith so that we can move forward.
Lord, we are also willing to establish a closer relationship with you in prayer, because prayer not only allows us to entrust our burdens to you, but also makes us more certain of your presence. You said, ""Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."" (Philippians 4:6) Lord, we believe that when we seek you, your peace will fill our hearts.
Lord, our faith is not only for the blessings of this life, but for the eternal hope. As the Apostle Paul said, ""We look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen; for the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal."" (2 Corinthians 4:18) Lord, we look forward to the day when you will wipe our tears yourself, and there will be no more death, mourning, crying, and pain. (Revelation 21:4)
Lord, help us to hold on to this hope of faith, and not deviate from the path you have prepared for us, whether in good times or bad times. Please support us when our faith is weak, and let us always remember that you are the God who does not change yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
Father, thank you for giving us such faith, so that we can find comfort and strength in your love. Please help us to practice this trust in our daily lives, and keep our eyes on you no matter what the circumstances. Lord, may our lives be a testimony of faith, so that more people can see your glory and power.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
