The first time I played one of these I started tearing up- it was so beautiful. And then I told the person at the store, and she said I wasn’t the first one to get emotional playing it , haha!
The action of an upright can never be like a grand. But a top quality upright can perform better than an average grand piano. I've played the Bosendorfer 130 .It's good. But I've also played the Steinway K 132 which I feel has a bass of a grand. The piano I still have to play is the C Bechstein Concert 8. I've played all the top models Bluthner Pertof Schimmel Sauter Seiler August Forster Grotrian.....
I've played them all accept the bosie. I found the Steinway had the most presence. Like the sound was really projecting and shooting out of it, ton of overtones but it didn't have the cleanest overtones. Concert 8 the overtones we're pristine, nothing out of place, and piano had equal energy across the board. Steinway was built more like a choir with bass energy dominating and high resigters more subdued. Concert 8 had a full but less present sound more haunting and hollow. I've played the best upright from steingraeber, grotrian, and all the other top brands. The Steinway and the concert 8 were my favorites but they are such different sounds it's hard to choose one. The Steinway is like a classic car and the bechstein a Bugatti. Just depends what u like
THE best upright piano in the world. I hope one day i've own one.

I've been able to play one of these once and they are truly amazing. They sound and feel better than nearly any grand.
Beautiful piano, beautiful music... A variation of Fiona Apple's "Never is a Promise".
😱😱😱Wowwww it sounds like a grand piano
Wow and such a beautiful song
Fiona Apple ❤
I love this
I didn't know that Bosenforfer even made an upright. That would be cool to have.
It really sounds deep
На таких инструментах надо играть классику.
Need a classic repertoire.

Never is a Promise by Fiona Apple
Can I have one please. 🙏🏼
Lovely sound but the music played in no way demonstrates the rapid repetition of single notes.
Not particularly impressed by the tone of this piano, curious about how the action is constructed, though.
please put more effort into the tuning, this has to much screaming tones 🥺😢
Put it in tune before recording a UA-cam video, please.
