They raced all over the world and won and Victor road him from age 2 to age 6. Lots of other great horses and jockey's too. This is the BEST music video ever. LOVE the music. GREAT video. @@denny.and.me1235 Not all the time. Some horses that are raced to young have a higher risk of getting injured because they aren't ready for the pressure of their hooves hitting the hard tracks. While horses that race a little older have stronger bones meaning that they are ready for the pressure which also, therefore, they are ready for the pressure.

American Pharoah was ok and won in his herd/class that year. The only year Chrome went to Dubia and then UK then needed time off.....2015.......so American Pharoah took that year. CC came back in 2016 to clean house, won the Dubai World cup and many others and retired at age 6. Earned $15 million. He's in this video with the DAP colors.......purple and green with Victor Espinoza on him in all his races. AND Victor rode American Pharoah in all his races and wins, too. Victor is number one jockey.

They don't hit them as hard as you think. The whips make popping noises when whacked in the air. Most jockeys are actually hesitant to even touch the horses with the whips even for safety.
I love this video and music. I want something like this for our hype video for my high school girls basketball team. Our mascot is the Colts. Combine some of this with some of the girls clips would be super exciting.

What is your job? Would it be ok if i bash what you do for a living? Maybe try shutting it down?
@@amandadann2807 so your saying that it's ok to start a horse when it's bone structure is still developing that's my only big problem with it because not everyone is abuse with drugs or whipping and stuff like that but they need to start doing it so it does not effect them that's why a lot of horses break legs on the race track. Also my sport is not abusive in the way that you are REQUIRED to break your horses bone structure and I have been working with horses my whole life so please don't assume that I have no experience and I would love to come work with horses at the race track but there is a that one thing I don't like.
They don't get put down ,they usually get sold after being retired from the track and that's how people get OTTB's (Of The Track Thoroughbreds) ,alot of race horses race until their 10 and sometimes even more

I hate the horse racing industry. I hope you realize what most race industries do to their horses. They take the sharpest whip they can find, and they constantly whack them. On top of that, they give the horses drugs to go faster. Some even burn the horses hooves so that they gallop to the point where they pick their feet up fast, because it hurts their hooves to put them down. I’m not hating on you, because I don’t know if you know this stuff,but I just want you to realize that horse racing is a horrible sport unless they treat the horse correctly.
I've never heard of this stuff. I've never seen a sharp whip, the crops are normally flat but that doesn't make it right. Do they have hooks on the whip or something? Not sure what you mean by sharp. No hate, just asking because you may know more than I do. :) Definitely never heard of burning hooves, because race horses need to be as sound as possible to race. I definitely do agree, the racing industry does need some reform. They should put a limit on how many times a horse can be hit, or ban crops overall. I believe the limit has already been put in place in other countries. They do have a law on the drugs, but it is easy to not be able to be caught. There are those who love their horses and do treat them well, so that's why I don't completely hate the industry. But again, I agree with you, reforms need to be made, not just in racing, but in every equine sport, as there's pros and cons to all of them. :D I really appreciate the information and your opinion.
Bullshit 😂 racing whips are padded. I braced myself because my friend wad going to whip me with one but it didnt hurt. They dont use drugs. They get tested before and after a race. A trainer will get a huge fine and could possibly loose their licence. And the burning thing your referring to it called soring and they do it to tennesse walking horse to make them do a high step movement called the big lick. Which is disgusting.
@@jpowner58 That's what I thought, but wasn't completely sure. I've heard some trainers do try to use drugs even with the reforms, but not sure if that is true. I was thrown off by the burning thing, because I've never heard it used in racing, only TWH. Wouldn't make sense since race horses have to be sound to race, and that wouldn't make them sound. I am not an expert in the industry, so I don't have really much to go on, and it's not my position to speak too much on the topic here. I'm glad for your opinion, just please try to refrain from using language on my channel, since I may have younger viewers who can't handle that. Thanks! :)

But right now im doing a 14 week course at the british racing school where i will learn more about the industry. I heared that Britain treats racehorses better than America but im not sure how true that is and i have never seen any abuse happen infront of me in the industry so far. Im not saying the sport is perfect. No sport is.

I hate the horse racing industry. I hope you realize what most race industries do to their horses. They take the sharpest whip they can find, and they constantly whack them. On top of that, they give the horses drugs to go faster. Some even burn the horses hooves so that they gallop to the point where they pick their feet up fast, because it hurts their hooves to put them down. I’m not hating on you, because I don’t know if you know this stuff,but I just want you to realize that horse racing is a horrible sport unless they treat the horse correctly.
I've never heard of this stuff. I've never seen a sharp whip, the crops are normally flat but that doesn't make it right. Do they have hooks on the whip or something? Not sure what you mean by sharp. No hate, just asking because you may know more than I do. :) Definitely never heard of burning hooves, because race horses need to be as sound as possible to race. I definitely do agree, the racing industry does need some reform. They should put a limit on how many times a horse can be hit, or ban crops overall. I believe the limit has already been put in place in other countries. They do have a law on the drugs, but it is easy to not be able to be caught. There are those who love their horses and do treat them well, so that's why I don't completely hate the industry. But again, I agree with you, reforms need to be made, not just in racing, but in every equine sport, as there's pros and cons to all of them. :D I really appreciate the information and your opinion.
Bullshit 😂 racing whips are padded. I braced myself because my friend wad going to whip me with one but it didnt hurt. They dont use drugs. They get tested before and after a race. A trainer will get a huge fine and could possibly loose their licence. And the burning thing your referring to it called soring and they do it to tennesse walking horse to make them do a high step movement called the big lick. Which is disgusting.
@@jpowner58 That's what I thought, but wasn't completely sure. I've heard some trainers do try to use drugs even with the reforms, but not sure if that is true. I was thrown off by the burning thing, because I've never heard it used in racing, only TWH. Wouldn't make sense since race horses have to be sound to race, and that wouldn't make them sound. I am not an expert in the industry, so I don't have really much to go on, and it's not my position to speak too much on the topic here. I'm glad for your opinion, just please try to refrain from using language on my channel, since I may have younger viewers who can't handle that. Thanks! :)
@@flyinghorseedits8993 oops sorry for my language. Ive only been in the racing industry for nearly two years but im just a stable hand/groom. So im not really an expert either. But right now im doing a 14 week course at the british racing school where i will learn more about the industry. I heared that Britain treats racehorses better than America but im not sure how true that is and i have never seen any abuse happen infront of me in the industry so far. Im not saying the sport is perfect. No sport is.
@@jpowner58 It's ok! Just have to keep track of it to keep my younger viewers in mind. :) I don't work in the industry, I'm just a spectator... I've heard that too, but also don't know how much truth there is since I have not watched much of British racing. Exactly, everyone has to acknowledge that no equestrian sport is perfect. They all have their flaws. That's awesome that you are doing a course! What exactly are doing? Sounds interesting!
