As a Rangers fan, I believe there’s a lot to improve on. Shesterkin is playing out of his mind and proving that he’s worth the price he wants, but there is no reason we should be letting up as many shots as we have been. Especially over the last couple of games
I was quietly confident about the Capitals with their strong offseason but they've far exceeded what I thought they would do especially with the poor goaltending so far. Blueline injuries are a worry though. Sandin just went down too. That's 3 out on the blueline already. This could derail them.
I’d be worried if they were long-term injuries, but Chychrun and Roy are set to return any day, and I think Sandin was able to come back in that game. Even if he’s out, Alexeyev looked good in his season debut.

So... we are judging how are teams doing so far, and.... teams with no wins rank higher than teams playing for .500? Sorry, I just don't get what this video is about. You said it wasn't about expectations, but you rank based on expectations?
@@simgravelineand the devils are the first in there division and are playoff teams that’s expectation plus the leafs and the Canucks that panthers should be up by 1 as well
Would also put the Blues in the Darnell Nurse tier after that blowout against Ottawa. That team is dead in the water without Robert Thomas and all their defensive deficiencies were completely exposed.
Should have had Pittsburgh below Philly. At least Philly finally understood they needed to rebuild. Watching Pittsburgh play hockey is like watching a hockey game at half speed (aside from Geno).
Canucks will fall apart down the stretch Petterson will struggle to reach 10 goals 30 points ... Calgary will do better than expected same with Seattle
Montreal's points percentage is tied for 7th worst at .450 (barely ahead of the Islanders at .444). Their goal differential is 4th worst at -12. Seems like 5th worst is about right.
@ this comment was made before any of the games tonight as was the content for this video so taking the stats after that ass whooping into account is disingenuous first of all. The whole idea of the video is the basically comment how each team has PLAYED so far this season not how well we THINK they will play moving forward so with that in mind. Having Montreal lower than teams like Anaheim, Ottawa, Edmonton etc is just stupid considering the teams records at the point of the video. I feel like this video was biased towards teams who he thinks will be better moving forward than who is actually better right now. Because Montreal (at the beginning of today) are not a bottom 5 team. There are so many other teams who are off to MUCH worse starts than them.
If this is based on what weve seen so far and thats it Edmonton and Nashville have to be in lottery teams. Do I expect them to stay there probably not but neither team has looked good for a lot of the season I dont think a team like Buffalo or Seattle has looked worse than either team so far
Isles are no where near a fringe playoff team. isles can't hold leads, they can't score with no depth scoring, they are old and slow, and have a hot head coach who is unhappy with his stubborn gm's roster moves like calling up a useless 18 and re-signing 37-year-old 17 because he has no other recourse and is capped out with 22 man roster. Shut out 3 times in 9 games this season isles are ready to implode and are one major losing streak away from roy calling it quits from this sub par roster that even 30's .940 sv. % can't save. Fla. cats spotted isles a 3-0 lead last game then had their way with isles winning going away 6-3. Isles should be lottery team level because that is where they need to be-in lottery for many years to come.
It's time to rank EVERY NHL TEAM! What are YOUR thoughts on my rankings boys and girls? #GravGang
And who's your #1 and #32? 👀
Great Video, as usual, Nathan. A bit early, but, enjoyable
How could you not have the Sharks as number 1 cup contender?!
Right lol
I guarantee the rangers and hurricanes do not want to meet Florida in the playoffs.
Grass is green
Best part about Minnesota is that we are playing this way while STILL in cap hell. Can’t wait for next season!

What team are you talking about? Sharks are 32?
@@notrednorblue I meant « barely no wins ». Oilers and Predators should be lower.
Also they are both playing below expectations… so more reasons to put the lower.

@@simgraveline This is ranking by the current estimated potential, not ranking by number of points. You have standings table for that.
OMG!! the "Darnell Nurse Tier" hahahaha ... love it!!!

Sad times
As a flyers fan, we need a starting goalie and some competent defence.

21:40 Hurricanes over the Panthers lol😂
Right?? 😂😂😂😂
Not a good take for the future back to back cup champs

My Ducks need a better head coach. I've heard his post game speeches. Guy couldn't motivate me to make a sandwich.
You ask what happened why VgK offense is so good. All of our forwards are healthy. When healthy, this team is very hard to beat.
whos getting mckenna next season

@@SURVIVORkid23 lol they have a losing record and just gave up 8 goals against Seattle, I think 5th is generous
@ again, if you actually bothered to read the above comment. This video & comment were both posted before that game.

What is this video? A review of the NHL league table?
Ducks are on their way to that bottom row 😢

Sabres are better than that. They have played well even in the losses.
Crosby 3 assists tonight, so maybe he starts being better
damn personal attack on nurse

Im seeing some dallas stars fan bias here😝🫢
By far the worst analysis breakdown I've seen. This is worse than those that predicted the Oilers winning the cup this year before the season started.
Montreal is #1 again. 😉😁
