I think the live version from SOFAR is my favourite version of this. Saw her in concert on the 22nd October and it was even more incredible than the first time I saw her on the same date in 2021.

The music video is actually a shortened down version of a short film. And what you don't realise in the music video is that Eivør is actually playing the girls mother.

Great reaction to one of Eivør's best songs. And by the way, there is a video on UA-cam called "True Love 2012". I think it will be very interesting to everyone who watched this clip. The same story told in a little more detail, and with Eivør as one of the actresses.

i have recently watched the very first crime series from faeroer islands called "trom"
Liked your reaction. It’s difficult to decide which performance of this song from her I like the best. I think she is the best female vocalist out there at the moment. She can do it all - folk, classical, electronic, rock, tribal chanting, throat singing, inhale singing, operatic vocalisations etc. Do you hear any Kate Bush in her singing, who she cites as a main influence? Perhaps a bit of Aurora too?

@@jonathanjoensen2679 yes I couldn’t believe how long Eivør has been performing, Falling Free sucked me in and now I’m constantly astonished at everything she does and has done.

You must attend a concert of her. She's even far more celestial in reality. I went to one of her European tour concerts last month, and I can't get over every bit of the awe I felt that night. ♥️

@@AdamStraughan ‘Í tokuni’ is the original faroese version of ‘into the mist’. I highly recommend the original version as the faroese language adds that extra layer of mysticalness to the song. Song is inspired by her most essential song ‘trøllabundin’ rooted in old nordic myths.
