I love it when actors describe how they prepare for emotional scenes. You probably have to go to very dark places to portray a man not only mourning his dead son, but now mourning his broken marriage and the death of his best friend.
he just was ED Lost his best friend. his emotions even during the interview are there! he lives this in RL! loved him in AlterCarbon he should have been in more sessions!
Wonder if Ed will ever find out about Danny's indiscretion? I think we will find Karen involved with some sort of SpaceX type business when we catch up with her.
Doubtful, because he only go into rocketry because the governments weren't going fast enough. Similarly, he would have no need to get into electric cars and he would have missed the early easy internet money too. However, if they go so far as roughly catching up with our time in about season 5 he would make a great cameo character as a NASA employee.
@The Harry Channel probably not. During the time of season 3, Elon just launched Zip2. His first company. But this is an alternate timeline so who knows.
yes. I see her character being set up as a business mogul. If you remember in early season 2 episode, she was successful in paying off debt and was a natural accountant doing it all on her own. She proved very capable of running her own business, as she ran her household capable too. Now that she has a chunk load of money, i think the last episode highlighted something comin in the future for her. She was in a pant suit, looking super refined..the setting was very BIG COMPANY type, i think Karen will be a huge investor in a very big TECH company and will be MASSIVE rich
Always find it really interesting as Michael Dorman is a Kiwi, Jodi Balfour is South African, and Sonya Walger is British... their accents are spot on!
@@tankshot3256 I'm Swedish American, but Swenska was never spoken in our house. Dad had a problem with it being spoken in my presence. Whadda ya gonna do?
If season 4 is another 10 year time jump, that means 2005ish. Ed should be late 60s by then. I think Joel is too young to play a character that old, but who knows. Maybe the make-up team can make him look really good.
i think it will be a private company, most likely Ellen starting one up as she talking about private companies being better and said that NASA needs to focus on Mars again
@@truthful56 I think it is a bit too little time for a startup to come all the way from establishing itself o actually landing on the Mars within 12 years. But I fully expect to see some private contractors to be involved to Earth orbit and Moon in S3.
One of the best season finales I’ve seen for a while. Just superb 👏🏽👌🏾
Extremely rare for me to comment on anything on UA-cam. All hyperbole aside...this show is a masterpiece.
This finale was one of the strongest TV episodes I’ve ever seen.
I absolutely LOVE this show.

Yes someone will sell tickets to space, and make a killing. Need to put that MBA to work.

2021 and Collider can't have a better quality set up for the video and audio? sitting on the couch in low quality? cool interview BTW
Are we going to have an interview with Michael and Sarah?
If only I could watch it.
Joel is such a good actor. I mean truly such a good - good actor..
Why is nobody talking about the Mars ending

Joel signed on for three years? I get Season 4 has yet to be renewed, but could Ed die in season 3?

I had no idea Joel Kinnaman was Swedish.
