    If you take the pipe returning the water to the pond all the way down to the level of water in the pond, then add a 90 degree piece the water will stop making all of that noise and disturb/ oxygenate the entire pond surface. what you are doing right now is like running a HOB in an aquarium with the water level in the tank about half way.

    You should put some sponges or filter floss in the basket

      I actually put running sponge filters in the tub but your suggestion is better. Great idea! Thank you. 🙏

    hmm I don't think all of your K-1 are moving, looks like only the part where the water intake is moving that small section 3:00 while the other 90% are just....hanging out. Usually with that massive amount of K-1, you'll need some type of air stone to move all of the K-1, like that example clip at 2:55

      Hello! It isn’t necessary to manually move all of the K-1 in the beginning. As it cycles the density will change due to bacteria colonization and it fluidizes. Check my latest video where the K-1 is cycled already!
