Every Black person that I know who got a hair transplant said their hair didn't actually start growing back until 6-7 months after the transplant. You just need to be more patient, baby girl.

You are a beautiful woman and whether you are bald, wear wigs, weave, scarfs or headwraps, it does not matter. Hair doesn't make the woman, it is her inner beauty that really counts. You are blessed to be beautiful on the inside and outside. I think your hair will grow, if not, you will still be beautiful. We as women are not just defined by our hair. God bless.

Agree, but most black women will never accept that. We are beyond hair obsessed, and we pass it on generation after generation. When you see little babies with bonnets on, you know it has become ridiculous. I don't think it will ever end in my lifetime. Hopefully one day it will.

It takes time sis. I've gone through this myself. My hair grew EXTRA slow. At 6 months that's when I started seeing real progress. So I hate to tell ya, "you just gotta be patient :)." Also, take monthly pictures. That will show you that something IS happening even when the mirror tells you otherwise. Lastly, most people don't get satisfactory coverage from 1 transplant. You may need a second pass in order to get better density. But if you used FUE, that might not be ideal because it may leave you quite bare at the back. Otherwise, wait at least ONE year to determine whether this was a success or not. Hang in there and enjoy your life and family while you wait for your hair to come in. 😘

I had one on my edges too about 10 yrs ago. At first I thought some follicles fell out but they hadn't. I started to see growth at about the one month mark and from there it was steady. Everyone is different and as long as the follicles didn't "die" you should be good. FYI, I had the strip method and about 2500 grafts. My dr sent me home with a special shampoo kit to wash my hair in, and I believe it was a game changer and help speed things up. It was made of copper peptides. The follicles typically (not always) go dormant first, before they return to an active growth phase. For references, I have type 4 hair. Hugs to you. ❤

I have alopecia. My hair fell out at 16. My dr was fantastic but it took 2 years for it to grow back in. One thing he definitely said was NO relaxers, wigs, braids or weaves. It causes tension on your scalp and your scalp needs to breathe. Your hair is not going to be full and busy immediately. It takes time. But please....stop the wigs...even without the glue.

You are very beautiful lady. And as we as black women our hair is our crown and glory so I know exactly how you feel. After being relaxed since I was about 8 or 9 years old, went from having a jeri curl in the late mid 80's til the early 90's and back to being relaxed. My hair was terrilbly damaged. Yes, I would go to a licensed hairstylist but trying to do things at home and sometimes not being able to afford it is another thing. "LIFE BE LIFING" I finally said forget all of this and did a slow big chop in 2019 and I have been loving my nautural hair. It's a process because you have to learn what type your hair is and everything, but I SOOOO LOVE IT. I know you the topic is that you have had a hair transplant and honestly and technically don't know if you can use things on your scalp to inhance hair growth. So I just to introduce this hairline, well not the whole hairline, but this hair procduct KALEIDOSCOPE (AGAIN I'M NOT SURE IF YOU CAN USE HAIR GROWTH STUFF, BUT THIS LINE HAS ALOT OF PRODUCTS FORMULATED JUST FOR THAT AND IT MAY NOT HARM YOU). The product that I use is called THE MIRACLE HAIR DROPS and it is amazing. Not paid to do this at all. I see things that say that they gone do what they supposed to and buy and majority of the time it doesn't work, BUT SIS, THIS WORKS. IT REALLY DOES ♥if you're able to use it I hope this well help you. I haven't seen you guy's videos in some time and Lord those kids have grown into some beautiful young ladys. Time flies. HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOUR FAMILY ♥

Girl I clearly see your new hair growth. Your peach fuzz is starting. I can see your hair line definitely. Additionally you are a super fine Black Goddess of Creation with or without your hair. You are not your hair. It's okay. Be okay with being YOU. I LOVE THE SKIN I'M IN. Remeber THAT. RELEASE YOUR SCALP. It needs air, water, coconut oil leave in conditioning cream and Sun to speed up and nourish the growth of hair. Rosemary oil & water hair spray. Daily Soft circular Massage. And YOUR HAIR IS GROWING IN‼️😉👍🏾👍🏾👌🏾 Our hair is more coarser. It's like a germinating seed trying to sprout out its seed shell. Think of a nut shell & how hard and how long does it take for it to open up to send forth little baby shoots, sprouting out, RISING UP toward the SUN, but you need the well elements to touch your skin scalp and follicles. Go sun bathe near a window and just be thankful. No Fretting. No Thinking. Just giving Thanks & Praise for the Sun Rising, for a room to feel the essence and power of the sun, knowing there is no light greater than this magnificent blessings that sprouts new life. 💚🙌🏽🙌🏼🙏🏽 please stop smothering your hair and scalp. Release it, Release, Release your head so that your hair may grow. I don't know anything about hair transplants but I do know about hair growth. Try my ideas they may speed up the process by helping to improve the rate. The cream helps soften black hair textures, to help hair shaft slide out the follicles. Honey controlling your stress Goes Best with NO THINKING‼️👌🏿 You're doing far to much thinking Mom. Please try and make an effort to stop this wild Fretting? It not good for hair growth. It's truly hurting your husband. Take it easy Mom. Look how many years you've been going through this journey compared to the few months you've impatiently waited for the first burst of Peach Fuzzzzz Girl👌🏾😉👍🏾🥰😁😁😁😄 EUREKA‼️YOUR HAIR IS COMING‼️😄😁SMILE WOMAN‼️ Girl you got my head spinning. I can't go back to rest without helping to address this very serious issue. And remeber stress can make your hair fall our. Stop dancing with stress. It's dangerous to anyone's health. 👌🏾✌🏾💚🍀🌞💨💨💦💦🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🔥🌈🌈🌈 Transformation Time Mom, in your heart, in your mind, in your soul. Time to come out of your cocumb 🦋 little 🦋

Hair growth goes through cycles: The hair growth cycle has three phases: the growing phase, anagen; the regressing phase, catagen; and the resting phase, telogen. Anagen growth is the active phase in which the hair follicle takes on its onion-like shape and works to produce the hair fiber.

It’s growing. You can’t tell because you look and obsess over it everyday. My hair grew the most when life got busy and I stopped thinking about it.

I had one in March 2023, and it's growing but slowly. I was told it's a marathon, not a sprint, so try to relax. Yes, give it a year. Stressing will make the hair fall out.

Awww. I know it's easy to say. But try and be patient it does take time. Also, look at your nutrition and see a trichologist for treatment. That's what has helped me grow mine back. Thank God.

It's easy for me to say give it time ,but it's just true sis give it time I had to be patient growing out a relaxer getting a big chop and now nine months later I can braid my hair ,so I am still trying my best to just let time work for me and hopefully time will work for you.
And by the way your oldest daughter looks like Byounce's daughter ❤good luck

Don’t worry lady, I had one, I am almost at the year 2 mark. At year 1 the result was cringy and I was super worried that the transplant failed. I called upon the clinic and first thing they asked me: have you done PRP? So give it time and patience, stop wearing the headscarf and stuff, and get your PRP. You can start as soon as 3 months post op; though I started mine one year late (last October), after only one round, the improvements are astonishing, my progress would have been much faster if I listened to the docs and got my PRP earlier but it’s ok.

    Happy New Year,
For your hair use ORS monoi oil. It works for afro hair.

Hey hun. Try using Castrol oil with every shampoo once you're able to use things from getting your hair transplant. Start taking hair vitamins as well. I'm praying for your strength hun. ❤

You have a cute shaped head. My hair is falling out due to medication and I am actually considering having my head shaved and just wear it bald. I am tired of it falling out when I comb or brush.

Is has some stubbles so it’s definitely growing. Like everyone before me has said be patient and stop checking. Let a week or two pass perhaps before you examine it again. You know that old saying…” watched pot don’t boil”. Again Ami…be patient and be positive. Speak what you want to see. Tell that hair to grow !!
