Long post please read if you have 30 seconds 🙏 Hey Friends! I wanted to let you know that I decided to combine my “How to Trim a Brisket” & “How to Smoke a Brisket” masterclasses into one video. I will call it “The COMPLETE Tutorial”. It is 2+ hours combined of some of, if not the most helpful and instructive content on smoking brisket in all of UA-cam. Maybe even on the entire internet (for free that is haha). I know it’s a super long video but I’m a man of the people and I know when it’s just you and the stars out at 4am while you’re rolling brisket it can feel good to have a nice long format video to watch so I thought I’d combine these two videos into one. In other words, I’ll be in the trenches with you while you’re burning the midnight oil. Because I’ve already posted both of these videos separately you might feel inclined to click the video out of curiosity, then immediately click off once you realize you’ve already seen this content. And while that’s okay (I understand that 2 hours is a large commitment) just know that DESTROYS the performance of our videos. So my ask is this, if you find yourself on the video and know you don’t have 30 min+ to watch, would you just interact with the video before you leave? Maybe drop a like or a comment on your way out and show UA-cam that you enjoy the video. That would mean a lot and help a ton! I want this video to be the gold standard and the better the video performs the more people we can help. Thanks for taking the time to read- love y’all 🤠👊
I see a lot of comments saying, "Too much talking." I say BS, this man took us all on a cook with him and could make a rookie feel like a vet by the end. This was by far one of the most detailed how-to videos I've seen, and it was simply outstanding. Keep up the fantastic work, although I'm not sure you could make a better video than this.
Appreciate that big time bro!! I saw these comments roll in and thought “wait, so people actually prefer LESS information” 😂. My wife and I were like dang we could saved multiple days worth of shooting and weeks worth of editing 😂. But that’s not in my DNA so information is it! Cheers brother thanks for showing love
100% agree, this is better than the Aaron Franklin masterclass. I followed this video and put out a top notch brisket, I haven’t been able to get there until the things I learned here. 🙏
Two and a quarter hours is difficult to set aside to watch a video but I had the time today-I was amazed at the quality of the presentation and videography. The best training is lecture-led by a subject matter expert. You can’t come to my patio to coach me-this video is a great option to it. But, primarily, I was captivated by the material. Thank you two for talking the time to produce the video. I’m going to make a job aid for reference material for my next brisket cook which will be significantly different from previous ones.
Phenomenal video. I have cooked many a brisket myself and as a self taught (through UA-cam and experiential mistakes) smoker of meats I loved every second of this video. One thing that I think stands out is your humility and overall love of bbq. Thank you sir and thank you Mrs. Meat N Greet as our wife’s are our biggest supporters. God bless, Chris
I'm opening a smoke joint in March I been looking for a tell all brisket video and this be the 1!! Was needing info on temp bumps, I appreciate you and thr Mrs. So very much!! Great info I'll be using on my next cook!
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this video my friend. After watching the 2 hour video it feels to me like we are friends. I for one, truly appreciate the level of detail through out the entire process. Today, I am have implementing your teachings for a 12 lbs brisket that I put in my Pit Boss Smoker. I know some people may say the pellet smokers are not real smokers but it is what I have. I also purchased your two hat and Brisket Booster and plan to try your rub for my new years eve smoke. Please continue to be you and I look forward to any future videos you have planned. God bless you and your family Kirby (if I may). I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year filled with love and peace. P.S I liked and subscribed to your channel and shared your Master Class video with 12 of my friends. "For the Love of BBQ" take care, Willie.
WOW! This was an amazing video. thank you for teaching us. im using this video for my brisket im making christmas eve for the family. keep up the great work. You are really a great teacher. LET'S GO!
Woooo that slice cut with the juice o mannn. I’ll look at some UA-camrs cut into their brisket and I’m all like nah that ain’t it😂 but dude YOUR results actually come thru on camera. For the love of bbq that’s good. Gonna try to use these tenets u wrote out on my pellet smoker hopefully they translate over.u crushed it dude.My turn 🏃🏽 💨
Wasn’t sure about this channel at first, but after watching a few videos, I know why people stick around. Thank you for this content, it helped me through my first and second briskets on the smoker I just built! Really love the content! Thanks again!
3rd watch through of this one. Finally getting to try it. Briskets are resting now, they look and smell amazing. Holding for a day. Ready to devour it tomorrow. Great vids, great sound and camera work. I look forward to watching the rest of them. Thanks for the hard work!
Great video, could have used this video 2 days ago as I smoked my second brisket ever. Been smoking food for years but I seemed to have avoided brisket for some reason. Thought I did a pretty good job but definitely will use some of your techniques next time.
Appreciate it bro! Glad to hear you’re getting good results out of your brisket cook so far… sorry I didn’t sooner 😭. Now you have a reason to rip another brisket out haha. Cheers fam 🍻
You’re a legend brother thank you for doing that! I used to be the same way haha so I know what it took to earn your trust and support. Cheers bro, hope to see you around more 👊🍻
Honestly bro I’m a big believer in reps. I’ll take two Sam’s club choice/primes for the price of one SRF any day and squeeze and extra cook out of it in the process. But then again if you want to get after a srf wagyu that’s also a fun time haha
Agreed bro! They will be just as happy with a solid prime. Not sure if you have a Sam’s near you but their prime is dang near the same price per pound as their choice so it makes the decision pretty easy.
I want to see a side camera of all the fire management. All 12-15 hours of the cook. I think that’s what a newbies would like. Like we understand trim, rub slicing, But there’s no real temp dropping to adding a log to video. Even if it’s in fast forward. Just a thought for a video!! But for sure pickup more than a few tips.
Sorry mate could only get as far as 30 mins before the excessive talking wore me down. Theres some great information regarding the steps involved but you just don’t need to spend 2 mins explaining something that can be said in a sentence. Appreciate the time it’s taken to make the video👍🏻
Long post please read if you have 30 seconds 🙏

That’s because people nowadays lack a decent attention span lol it’s ALOT of knowledge being dropped here

Are the temp rules the same if using a traeger??
Thinking about placing a order for a snake river wagyu brisket after I watch this 3-4 times
Honestly bro I’m a big believer in reps. I’ll take two Sam’s club choice/primes for the price of one SRF any day and squeeze and extra cook out of it in the process. But then again if you want to get after a srf wagyu that’s also a fun time haha
@ 💯✊🏾 solid advice especially with a family of 8
Agreed bro! They will be just as happy with a solid prime. Not sure if you have a Sam’s near you but their prime is dang near the same price per pound as their choice so it makes the decision pretty easy.
In hour 2 of smoking. Adding fat trimmings to keep temps at 250°
🔥🔥🔥
Love your vidoes im sure your busy wished you uploaded more 😢
Thanks my brother! I hear you, I'm working on it! 👊
Both those briskets made my mouth water…JEEEZUS F***

Comment for support. I also bought your caps. Thank you
You’re a legend thank you for the support my friend 🙏
Subscribed! If u could only eat 1, are u going for unwrapped or butcher paper?
These days unwrapped then foil.
1. Cooks slighter faster
2. Deeper bark
3. Better chance at rendering fat if you messed up along the cook.
@@MeatNGreetBBQ Do you mean smoked unwrapped and then foil to hold?
That’s correct 👍
Do you smoke it with the fat cap up or down?
Fat cap up for sure 👍
Thanks Mrs. Meat and Greet
A top 2 brisket tutorial video on the internet and this isn’t 2
That’s legit tanks bro 👊

Yea? 😅

Just a thought for a video!!
