Trim your dog's nails with this scratchboard! This product was sent to us in return for our honest review. This is a Dog Nail scratch board, think of it like a giant emery board for your dogs! They can scratch at it, and trim and file their own nails. If your dog has never used one of these, it can take a bit of practice, but once you have helped them to figure it out, you will LOVE this board! I love that this board can be angled! I always start off with it flat for our dogs, with some treats under it, to make them want to dig at the board. Slowly, over time, we add a command, such as dig, and they will do this on command.
Now getting the front nails is pretty simple, but what about those back nails? The design of this board allows you to use it like a ramp, so you can set it near a couch, teach your dog to walk up it, and it will file their back nails as well.
This board is perfect for dogs who have anxiety about getting their nails done! As I said, lots of treats, lots of praise, take your time, and before you know it, your dog will be trimming their nails with ease!

Scam how about rear paws?
I think you need to look up what a scam actually is. So this board can be used on an angle, like a ramp, and you can have your dog walk up it (like onto a couch), and it will slowly do their back nails. Most dogs, who actually get enough activity, need their back nails done far less then their front.
What about the back feet?
So this is not big enough for my dogs to do their back paws. BUT with a smaller dog, you can put this up against your couch, and let them walk up it, and it will do their back nails as well. My dogs back nails are always far better trimmed naturally then their front for some reason!
