    You missed a *CRUCIAL* step!
When you loaded the bike into the restraint, you forgot to wiggle the bike and say "That's not going anywhere". xD

By far Best installation video on YT for this system. It wasn't pretty but it was very clear and explanatory and easy to follow. Thanks so much for this video!!!

Got mine in today for our 1300-mile move in October. I should've gotten this years ago! Thanks for the video!

Its dope how your the only person I have seen yet to put the stand under the bike rather than behind.

1 of the best investments anyone can do for their bike. Everything else I tried always left me with a puckered butt during the trip after several near mishaps.

Great video ... Intrigued by the mounting underneath rather than behind the bike. Do you think it is more stable .. i.e. less front end walk?

stupid question, but if I put it on the front of the rear tire, would I need to move/meassure the plate up from where it goes if it was on the rear of the tire?

Do you think this could be mounted on a Black Widow SMC-600R carrier?

I'm looking for a setup for securing my BMW S1000XR onto a rear carrier behind my Sprinter. The carrier will be a sturdy design connecting to both frame rails of the van, rather than the single hitch receiver. I'm thinking the Pit Bull used in conjunction with a wheel chock & straps in front might be secure enough to haul the bike sideways.
    What do you think?

I always ran the Pit Bull stand solo and never had an issue. The straps would be extra security, but I don't think they are needed. It would be ideal for the van if you need to use it for other things because it just leaves a flat plate in the back when you're not using it. Good luck with the setup!

I guess this won't work for me I'd have to buy a new pin for each bike I transport not going to work.

    How’s it holding up?

  • @ratoneJR

Limited applications... basically, won't work on any motorcycle. So, it is not the best way.

For an extra $25, Pit Bull will customize the system so that it can work with most any bike. It is possibly the best way after all.

I have a bike but I never really take it anywhere unless I'm riding it, and I'm selling it soon cuz I'm moving out(finally) one day when I have a lot of time I wanna get a BMW and tune it up like you and twinline.

    • @boostedM
      @boostedM  6 років тому

What kind of bike do you ride? I don't ride mine as much as I probably should, but I still couldn't bring myself to sell it

I'm 17, so it was the bike I learned on, its a Suzuki GZ 250, and im 6'3" 200lb so it doesn't really fit me anyways and goes like 70 mph tops lol. I don't mind letting it go, I'll get an upgrade one day probably a 650-800 in a few years.

If you have been in a near accident with a bike in the back you´ll know not to use that system without securing the frontend.
    Think safe
