Well done. Using Honda HFC-2 is probably not mandatory, but why take a potentially expensive chance? Running it through the gears and using the torque wrench shows you are a pro. The plastic trim rivets are available at most auto parts stores. I use O'Reilly's since the are also pros.
@tjtv7260 fluid breaks down, transmission starts shuddering and slipping. Which then results in slower acceleration and lower fuel economy. Eventually, the transmission fails and will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
Thank you..hour looking for fill plug crush washer I finally found tou...😮
This is honestly the best video yet explaining it. I appreciate it
😂
New phone and new editing software...I know some of my views are backwards. I have it all corrected for next time.

What about the warmer filter and pan filter?
Thanks, dude, that was super helpful!
Спасибо,дружище!
Nice guide! Thanks!
Filter replacement?
Why didnt you run it through "S" gear? ***Genuine question***
Is that a 2019 fit?
Only 11 comments on the video. Kinda hoping the creator would respond to questions. Still s good viddo.
He said in the video 2018 sport
How do you know it’s time to change the gear oils?
I recently bought a reconditioned 2019 petrol with now 38k. Should I change it?
I do not recall when Honda says to service it. I like to do it around 30-40k typically for most cases.
In my country, they recommend to change CVT fluid every 40,000 kms/25,000 miles.
does anything change between engine 1.3 and 1.5 ? Thx for the video!
I do not know. We only get the 1.5
If you do not change the car transmission fluid what would happen ?

Mine was already shuddering when I got it it only does it when the air is on doesn’t do it all the time it’s about to be a month of having it
Iam feeling slight jerk..when i step on it..2016 honda accord..with 61k..changed the cvt oil 2 times in since 28k
Why switch drain bolt 18 to 20mm?😊
Yes I want to know too
What about the cvt filter?
Change it every other service
Does engine needs to be running when checking level?
No
Sounds like a Subaru thing?
Is there cvt filter like in honda civic
IIRC there is a traditional filter in the pan
How come you didnt change the transmission filter?
I want to wait til the 2nd service to do so.
hello, my honda fit sport transmision make ,,dug'' when i turn D or R, what will be a problem?
Dug? What do you mean?
@@garage79r i dont know how to say, like hit
@user-qx2zu3bt9r does it thunk? Like maybe bad motor mounts maybe?
i have the same car, every thing is flipped in this video. what's right is left in this video.
See my comment below I was using new software and didnt know how to flip the orientation. I have since fixed it for future videos
There’s 2 filters that need to be changed. This is an incomplete service.
Not according to Honda. They skip every other.
You can change the fluid without the filter my friend. Might as well just change it when it comes time to flush.
You are talking about a flush my guy 🤣🤦🏻♂️
the one in the oil warmer (not in the pan) gets dirty faster.
