Thank you for the lovely video. Next to no cars ... just awesome! Also wondering did you do this route in early spring? I saw a clip with some snow. Also wondering if most of the time you found paid accommodation as I never saw a tent?
Thank you ☺ You are right that it was Spring, (April) before the summer heat. We didn't camp at all on this trip although finding somewhere to wild camp would be easier here than anywhere else I've cycled (subject to some places in the national parks where it is prohibited) We mostly used small hotels and then some refugios for the more remote stretches. Despite the small number of hotels we had no problem finding rooms.
@@parsaerfani7973 700km over nine days so averaged just under 80k. Details of the daily rides are here www.komoot.com/collection/2697559/-montanas-vacias if you want them.
Thanks Steve another good one and well done to both of you. To have so much space and traffic free must be wonderful. I bet that delicious looking cake went down well. Therein lays my problem 😉😂
Thanks for sharing your experience in Montañas Vacías...
Buena Ruta,buen camino💪
Thanks, I can't claim the credit for the route but it was certainly good 😊
Looks wonderful, Steve! Such a shame we had to cancel our trip in April 2020 when the world suddenly shut down.
Yep. But still time to plan more trips 😁

@@bikeboatbeer Useful information on the hotels. Planning this route for April/May next year. Great video.
Thank you!! 1 question. How many kms did you do a day?
