Thank you, as someone who’s always driven older cars n just bought one of these I really appreciate your step by step. I opted out of the calligraphy because I wanted a bench in the rear seat.
I bought one, it's a love hate relationship.. love driving it, love how it drives, love the stereo.. HATE the safety crap and the complete lack of permanently disabling it.. 😂
@@warnode nope, it automatically turns back on if you change direction, or go to park, or turn off the vehicle.. some of it is time related.. It's developed by those who can't drive, for those who shouldn't drive..
@@MB-mh6xv Do you have a sunroof? when mine is open i can't use my cruise control and lose my tachometer, and right turn camera because of the glare on the facial sensor.. The safety systems are idiotic. Glad it's not just me that thinks it's developed by idiots
@@rustbeltrobclassic2512 Yes, I have a sunroof. I haven't noticed any problem with glare, though I do tend to have the shade closed more than my last, for some reason, I think it's mostly because of the sound, it's not as quiet as my last vehicle when the sun roof window is open. My cruise control doesn't work, I think because I wear sun glasses. I was never a huge cruise control user to begin with so that hasn't bothered me, but I've only been on one longer road trip since purchasing it. Perhaps it isn't working for the reason you stated, I'll check that. I haven't noticed the tachometer issue you mentioned. I do love the car but there are a couple things I have been annoyed by and hoping they change them in future updates. My biggest concern is that I get consistently mid 30's MPG around town, when I get out on the interstate that drops to mid to high 20's. I have the Hybrid Calligraphy and that surprises me very much. My dealership is 200 miles away, so I haven't taken it in yet, but that seems wrong.
Is there a way to set it up so it defaults to my driver profile when I start it, rather than having to keep telling the car it's my profile I want loaded?
Steering controls 👍 good But I hate this implementation of semi-capacitive HVAC buttons in santa Fe, like the ioniq5. Big no-no 👎🏽for me. Kia ev9 needed a reach but was better 👍for the driver. I opted for Genesis GV70, 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 lets you swipe fan speed controls

Thanks, just got a limited hybrid. This really helps!
was thinking the same thing
We have it and love the boxy shape
The first trip the car cautioned us about a speed trap ahead. Suggested stopping for coffee. lol
What is the big plus and minus for bottom on the steering wheel?

and if you save it on your profile? will it stay disabled?

It’s making me crazy, as well. The “consider taking a break” is maddening.

Why mine doesnt have the tire pressures on the options do you know how?
The front light bar only turn on in park. Other times its off. Pity. The light bar make the front really good looking. Hope they do a software fix.

Súper explicado la tengo y no me arrepiento ❤❤
The tail lights are more Audi Q7 like.
Steering controls 👍 good

The Santa Fe SEL 👎. No wireless charger no UV Ray light in glove box They lied to me 🥴
The amazing controls asides from the ugly boxy design
