I’ve recently stumbled across your music. I love the simplicity of it. I’ve been playing flute and piccolo for 5 years. My 16th is coming up on May 5th and I’m thinking of asking my parents for almost all of your music. Thank you for sharing!
I began playing flute when I was 11, too. It's a bit jarring to think I've been playing now for 50 years. O.o But let me encourage you, never stop. You don't have to make it your career to enjoy music for the rest of your life, you don't ever have to get really good at it either. It's always there for fun or relaxing no matter how old you get and during this lockdown, it's been great to bring up music like this to play along with. I'd like to suggest "Birds" and "Dance of the Woods", both by Beeftink. I cast them onto my smart t.v. and just play from the screen with the volume up. He has many other wonderful pieces but I'll leave you to discover them on your own. ;)
I stumbled across his music also, and I haven't regretted it since. I think it was the best thing ever, and I even got a flute just so I can play his music.
@@kamkam7964 The time goes by fast, you don't believe me but it does. I got into the pit orchestra for theater, learned I needed to have more instruments to play so added oboe, clarinet, saxophone, and penny whistle. The time will pass, may as well add as much as you can. :) Until covid I was in a county community band which allowed all in it to work or go to school so it didn't take up time and allowed many to join. We performed for concerts at libraries, schools, nursing homes, and anyone who wanted a band. If for some reason you stop playing (I hope you never do) don't sell your instrument and you can pick it up again ... knowing how doesn't go away so don't feel if you've not played in a year or two (or 10) you can't get back to it. You can. :)
