Flowers can come in the league as a three-and-D player and has a 42-inch vertical. He has impressed NBA teams during workouts after being relatively unknown after averaging just 5.2 points in 18 appearances this past season for the Adelaide 36ers of Australia’s National Basketball League. His coming-out party was at the NBA combine in Chicago, where he tested as the most athletic and youngest wing in the draft. The 205-pounder, who graduated high school in three years, turned 19 on March 8. The Sixers have the No. 16 and 41 picks in the NBA draft on June 26 and 27.”

No disrespect but you got your facts mixed up about that Jimmy buter trade . The sixers were forced to trade him because he already let them know he wanted to be in Miami . He was not going to resign with the sixers . The player they received was an afterthought as compensation because they traded players and draft picks for him .
LeBron would be an awesome signing ! He had a really good year last year even at 40 years old! And he’d only be a 2 yr contract!

Obi Toppin would be an excellent fit next to Embiid. He’s a younger athletic player on the rise. He can make 3’s from the corner block shots n get some highlight dunks to energize the team n fans. He’s just a piece to the puzzle but he fits. That would still leave enough ammo to possibly trade for Bridges
All that is moot if we can sign Lebron. Even at 39 he’s still better than any 3 man we’ve ever had. Name 1
PG13 got what 3/152? If the Sixers offered 4/180, allowing them to build a roster still that extra 28M is more than he’d get at the end of a 3/152 deal w LAC.

This is how you can make the sixers a better team without the over the hill gang of old all stars. I would go and sign Miles Bridge's 26 years old and gives you 21, 7 and 36 percent three point shooting. Go and trade for Corey Kispert he shoots 38 percent from three 13 points a game, and I am sure it won't take three first round picks. Get a back up big, it's plenty out there. Sign Tyus Jones and sign Kelly Oubre at a reasonable price. What ever I have left, add more long athletic players to the team. I'm keeping Ricky Council. This is not rocket science, the star hunter seems to think so.

Sixers management can and has done much worse. For us that's probably the second best outcome. Not because it should be, but sixers management has been terrible for decades. AI should've had Paul Pierce but they picked Larry Hughes. It's been even longer before that. It's an unfortunate tradition.
I remember we got Derek Coleman again 2002 he was 36. 2003- 2005 he couldn't even run up the court. Same with Rick Mahorn. Do diligence is needed. Assemble a team with younger ballers that fit.
This issue isn't signing an older player, the issue is signing an older player to a big contract both in terms of per year salary and contract length. You give Paul George a contract that starts at $50 mil you will not have much wiggle room to fill out the rest of the roster with quality players. And let's not even get into the injury history on top of that.
Having 39 year old bron would be like having contract year Tobias Harris on steroids crack and cocaine 😂😂😂
