i actually liked the movie a lot more than i thought it would, molly, alice eve's character was actually a human being. She wasnt some ditzy pretty girl, she didnt act like she was better than everyone else. i really liked her character

That ending was priceless. I laughed out loud the whole time. It is refreshing to see someone actually give credit to the theatrical world and how it contributes to film. Made me happy.

@Viconiuz in London there are a couple of different accents but her accent is close to how a lot of people sound but it sounds like it's been changed probably from living abroad, e.g. at 0:44 she says 'obviously' weirdly and at 2:48 she says 'well' weirdly. Her voice is a bit posh but a lot of people sound like that, London people who go to good schools/universities sound like that.

It would be normal for a guy like his to date a girl like her. If he was confident and had an amazing personality. What makes this movie unrealistic is How can she be attracted to a poor guy with low self-esteem and socially awkward. It is not about his looks.
I think that at the museum and at the hockey match had self-esteem and it was gone when his friends and his family said that he could never get a girl like molly. By the way I love molly in the movie and Alice eve in real life:)
@Cinemastique It is an epic fail because i've yet to hear and Amerixan perfect an English accent. I agree with the second part. American media is so accessible to us that it is a lot easier for us to do an American accent. That's all I meant. BTW I'm pretty sure that there are more British accents than American accents. I'm not bullshitting - Google it.
@Taarable Her accent was okay, but she slipped a few times. Namely in the scene outside the museum party, my friend (who isn't familiar with Alice) kept saying "She sounds... ENGLISH." And yeah, she did flub a few words there. :-) Overall, I've heard worse American accents.
