Most dancers either have great emotional connection or just great flexibility and capable to do certain moves. But this girl has it all!!She is so emotionally into it and is soooo beautiful on her feet. :) Great Job!!
She is one of the very few dancers that i have seen on here that actually seems as hough she is lost in the music and responding to the words. Lots of dancers have tequnique but few have artistry and this is what makes this girl special :)

god out of all the dancers ive ever seen on youtube she has by far the best turns ive ever seen. how she can control them so well wen shes ending them versus most who fall out of their turns
I love that you can hear her breathing at the end. It's like it's a part of the choreo. Like she finally admitted defeat. Like she realized she will have to deal with the hurt instead of trying again for love.

Dancing with hair let down is something a lot of dancers are afraid to do. In a group, that causes a whole slew of other problems, but dancing alone, like this girl so magnificently did, scares a lot of dancers. To the audience's eye it can look as through her lines are incorrect, and her dance is sloppy. With long hair, it's even harder. This girl just pulled off something I've never seen any dancer pull off, ever. This was truly magnificent.
Beautiful! What I love the very most about this dance is that she dances with a story and a believability that fits so well with the song. The technique is there, the gracefulness is there, the wonderful turns and tricks are there too. No doubt... she is dancing.... just pure dancing and although there are technical elements there, it appears she didn't have to over think them because they are woven so nicely into the piece :-). Great choreo, great dancer, great piece.

I dont think she is that skinny! She is PERFECT! All I have to say is that she is one uhhhh-mazing dancer! She not only connected with the music, she was moving her body with the music and connected to that. Another thing I noticed is she wasnt doing a million and one arco moves, that is what real dancing is
and she is soooooooo graceful and since shes very tall and thin its a lot harder to b graceful. most tall dancer look akward and odd but not jess she knos how to work it!!!
So emotionally moving and great control! You are remarkably talented and all in all, incredible. You are so fun to watch and very unpredictable. I love that about you. You are easily one of the best if not the best in the mather dance company. They should give you really touch routines because I know you can pull it off. You are going to be a professional someday. I just know it.

@YourDanceChannel i agree, she's only 15, she probably just hasn't grown into her body yet. i guarantee in a few years she will fill out, there are quite a few dancers that everyone complained were "too thin" a few years back when they were like 14/15, and now they're older and in their newer videos you can tell they filled out. it's just a matter of growing into your body, obviously this girl just isn't done growing yet
I don't know why someone said to point your toes, since you looked like you had good technique :) secondly you're really talented!!! And I love your costume. Most solo costumes I've seen lately at comp were bras and shorts. So I love yours! Great job!!
I hate when people yell out names while the dance is going on. I'd be mad, cause when someone is dancing they are in their moment. Cheering on is supportive but being silent and respecting the dancer on stage is supportive as well. She is really good for her age. She does need to work on being silent on her leap and falls to the ground. Her extensions need to be even longer. She is real tall so you can tell me she isn't fully stretching her feet for the sense of energy throughout the body.
She's a thin girls, people need to realize its ok for her to be thin. People also need to realize that not all dancers need to be thin. Dance is a form of art, if all art looked the same there would never be controversy. She has great legs, the dance is a tad awkward but i'm glad she did it. if anyone else was to do this dance i'm not sure it would be as good.

@LittleE6 there are microphones on the floor of the stage to project sounds from the tap dancers shoes.....she isnt wearing a mic.
