I am very happy to have listened to Petra along the years, including the Spanish album Petra en Alabanza (Petra Praise). Wonderful move back then. I have enjoyed Petra, and of course, John Schlitt, for many many years, maybe the full 50! Thanks to Petra's music, my oldest son became a Christian. I've seen Petra as many times as I've been able to do so. First one was many years ago in Alberta at what was then known as Prairie Bible Institute. 25 years ago, we saw Petra at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta; I believe they were opening for Newsboys' "Steppin' up to the Microphone tour.... That evening, I had the pleasure of meeting John in person and had a short chat...that was my 40th birthday celebration. Also, with friends, traveled to Calgary for the then farewell tour. Petra has outlived many many groups, in multiple genres. John Schlitt, you are an amazing man and have quite the testimony. Glad to know Petra continues. Would love to see you again but I don't think it's possible. Continued success and blessings! Petra shall continue through their albums, cd's, etc., for many years to come---if time continues!
