ENLIGHT (European university Network to promote equitable quality of Life, sustaInability and Global engagement through Higher education Transformation) is one of the 50 European University alliances that test different models of the concept of European Universities and examine its potential to transform higher education. The European Universities Initiative is one of the flagship initiatives of the EU’s ambitions to build a European Education Area and will be scaled up under the Erasmus programme 2021-2027.
ENLIGHT is a network of ten comprehensive, research-intensive universities located in ten European countries (Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland) training over 300,000 learners per year and sharing a deep commitment to social responsibility.
