Former ambassador to Israel reflects on October 7 anniversary

Liberal Senator and former ambassador to Israel Dave Sharma reflects on the first anniversary of the October 7 terror attack in Israel.
Mr Sharma called the anniversary a “difficult day” which remains a “live and opened” wound for the Australian-Jewish community.
“It is a very difficult day,” Mr Sharma told Sky News Australia.
“Their feelings are still very raw.
“I think to a lot of the Australian-Jewish community, this is still a live and opened wound.”
