Gyratory crushes are fascinating to watch but they do have some pretty severe limitations - large enough rocks will clog them and they have to be frequently shut down and maintained. This looks like a smaller mine, which is the perfect place for this kind of crusher.
I think mines use them as primary crushers because they're REALLY simple machines - as few as nine moving parts. THey aren't designed to crush finely, just turn big rocks into smaller rocks. Secondary, tertiary and milling crushers will finish the job down the line.
Good size rocks today 👍. Love watching before bed it’s so relaxing. How many haul trucks you run?
And what happens after the ore gets crushed you know the process it makes it easier to understand the workings 😊

Why do the dump trucks only have half a load
Fully loaded trucks will almost always clog up the machine. They’re going lite to keep the video moving. When they clog up they have a very lame way of unclogging it. If you ask me theses kind of rock crushers are POS. Always clogging up.
what would be cool is if you could drop a small camera and have it travel through the crusher throughout the conveyer system without being damaged. Doubt that would be possible.....but it would be very cool to watch.
I would like to see a view from the bottom of the cone crusher and where the material goes to!😀
