This video was very helpful although I'm more into the dark academia/indoor garden/green witchery aesthetic :P
I have just moved to a tiny apartment with just one room and a little room/space that is like a tiny bedroom and then the living room and the kitchen are merged together but in a bigger room... So it's tiny and I need to figure out how to make it aesthetic. Anyway, your video was really inspirational for me in the process of making my apartment a real home. Thanks :3

it can be hard :s do seperate parts of your room look good? for example, if you would take a picture of your bed area, do you like it? or does that already look messy? or is it that parts of room don't look good as a whole, but seperatly they do look good?😄 (it's always possible to send me pictures on instagram dm @callmelizyt, but please don't if you don't feel comfortable doing that!)

Meh, aesthetics are overrated imo. Whether it's a bedroom, office, gaming space etc it's all the same. The same generic white, IKEA filled copy/paste design you see on Pinterest over and over again. There is literally no difference and because of all this "sameness" and unoriginality everything seems sterile, bland and uninspired.

all these different aesthetics have their own colours, accents and vibes and they are so different. some look a bit more similar, yes, but none are actually the same. you honestly think that gothic aesthetic and pastel danish aesthetic are the same? 😄

Yeahhh.... no. I would recommend looking at cottagecore, then look at minimalistic. then tell me they're all the same.

There are a lot of rooms out there that are similar to others. I can see where you're coming from. They do look quite generic. However, everyone's personal taste is different. You will see other "aesthetics" that aren't the same. And many people can't afford or aren't allowed to decorate their rooms. As a lady living in a tiny town, we aren't exposed to social media as hard and can make our rooms look like whatever we want. People need to find their own sparks. If they like generic rooms, they will have generic rooms. if they want something unique, they will do that.
