    Stranger Antique Rusted Grinder - Do you know what kind is?
    Hello guys, how are you?
    In this video i show you how to restore a Stranger Antique Rusted Grinder, and unfortunately i couldin't find any information about the Antique.
    This tool probably have 40+ years old and was used to grind a lot tipes of Seeds whats make me think that this grinder is a Seed Grinder but i didn't know right.
    I started disassembly with my wrenchs and screwdrivers, this time i am using gloves hehe'
    After the disassemble done is time to make electrolysis to remove the rust and the old paint, which is was with a very strange color.
    To make electrolysis i used cooking salt, hot water and a cellphone charger 12W, just pluged on and let the magic happens, after 12 hours is done to brush.
    To clean the parts after the electrolysis i used a stronger degreaser to remove any oil that still remains on the pieces.
    Now is tome to smooth some bad casting marks, for this job i just used a file.
    With this process done i begin brush all the parts in a benchgrinder with a wire wheel, every paint and rust that was in the pieces was cleaned.
    Time to paint, first i used 2 coats of primer to make a base protection and after dried i applied 2 coats of Gold color, i also painted inside the cup with a food protective paint.
    As you can see i didn't make a new wood handle, i just restored the old one by milling a little and sanding with 80G till 600G on my wood lathe, and applied some olive oil to protection.
    And all is ready to assemble.
    To assemble i just use wrenchs and screwdrivers, not that hard to assemble.
    I also replaced some missing parts, a spring and a washer.
    To test this Grinder i use pop corn. This tool is very strong but didn't grind right.
    Protection Equipments:
    - Gloves;
    - Goggles;
    - Hearing Protection;
    - Mask;
    Products Used:
    - Degreaser;
    - Primer;
    - Penetrating Oil;
    - Olive oil;
    - Spray paint gold.
    - Nail polish Orange
    Equipmentis used:
    - BenchGrinder;
    - Wood Lathe;
    - Plier;
    - Wrenchs;

    And if notice some english mistake please tell me in the comments, english is not my main language, i'm brazillian.

    Very nice job with this one! I'm not usually a fan of gold paint, but this is a rare exception to that - it turned out looking great! I'd like to think this was used to grind up the hopes and dreams of those that used it. That is just a hunch though, I could be slightly wrong.

      I unfortunately didn't find the original paint so i decided to paint with gold which turned out great. It was a nightmare to grind the corn beans on It hehehe' Thanks Bro! ♥️

    I do not know how it is correct in English, but this is what fragments the grain. For example, for porridge.
    Gold paint is almost always evil, but it's not terrible here. Really good work.
