There are times we don't stand up for our mothers and we even hate them for some stupid reasons. Sometimes we get annoyed when they're around and spend more time with our friends. But when they're gone, we'll surely wish to have one more day with them. Let's hug our Moms and tell them how we're so fortunate to have them. So sad, I can't. :'(

I really love this book. It’s my favorite, because tell us about the speed of time. The speed of the things that aren’t eternal

This is a great book. I read it a few months after my dad died in 2009, and couldn't put it down. I bawled my eyes out because I wished so badly to have that "one more day" too. Thank you, Mr. Albom, for writing this.

This book touched my heart and made me truly become Charley and walk in his steps through all the events in his life. When he said he saw his mom's ghost I would normally call people crazy, but this time I believed him. I hope His last few years were lived both meaningfully and happily, and I hope both him and his mom are resting in peace up in heaven together.

I haven't read the book. I watched the film a year after my own mom passed away. I found this video because an author I'm reading now used a quote from For One More Day in her own book, attributed of course, and I wanted to see if the quote was only in the book, or had also been included in the movie.

You must have speed read it. I'd hate to rush a book like that.

We cannot take our memories with us when we die. oh if I could write them in a book to leave to others to learn from. But alas I am not an author.

THE CD AUDIO IS THE BEST VERSION OF THE BOOK. The movie was terrible! What a waste of a movie

Terrible the way Oprah ruined this book with her cheap made for TV production...Ellen Bursten was also terrible and nothing like the books character.
You can tell Bursten didnt read any the Albom books that she acted in. Bursten also ruined the 5 people movie that John Voight was good in
