I loved your version of the tour you give 1st year teachers, especially about where you hide when you feel like crying. That is spot on. I often use the kids' calm down spot during my planning period.

Totally! Teaching is incredibly rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. It’s so important for us to be able to have these “mini breaks” when we need them. Thanks for your support! 💕

Thank you so much for your comment, Vannessa! It means a lot to me. Second grade?! That's so exciting! I used to think 6th grade was my favorite (I know, I'm a weirdo), but now I think it's 2nd. They are just so incredibly adorable and hilarious. 😊 I am always looking for content ideas, so feel free to suggest any topics you'd like to know more about. Thanks again for watching and have fun teaching the best grade ever! 🎉

Haha! My first year teaching I actually had someone come up to me after a presentation and say, “You know you were just gripping the podium the entire time, right?” 🤦🏻‍♀️
