in this video in this video i explained the working principle of single phase / 3 phase, Single Board / plate / circuit card Inverter IGBT or MOSFET, Welder Machine mma 200 / 140 ampere. - Function & Troubleshooting, i demonstrated how to troubleshoot, test and repair igbt dc inverter welder / welding machine.
this china MMA Inverter IGBT Welding Machine is single phase 220 VAC operated. it have a bridge rectifier which rectifies the main ac voltage into dc voltage, which are connected to pair of dc capacitors through a relay contacts and in parallel 110 ohms ntc resistor. this nts protects from inrush current and upon receiving relay drive signal it switches the rectified voltage to capacitors so, the ntc is bypassed to get full current to drive igbt.
then these voltage are switched into pulsed dc voltage to drive the primary of the high frequency power transformer, which drives the output schottkey rectifier diodes, which provide the output for welding
all function is controlled by inverter control board, sg3525 is used to control the pulse width for current mode circuit, low voltage power supply is used to power up the circuit

Does the appear of 24vdc sets the relay coil or there is an actual command from cpu or control ic to permitt the send of 24vdc to relay

Hello, 3000 watt full sinus inverter fault light is on. When the inverter is turned on, a relay tripping sound is heard, then the fault light is on, what do you think could be the problem?

I noticed that you use the multimeter in the igbt gate, I have a certain fear, (don't let the multimeter trigger the gate...) and I just use the oscilloscope.

yes i use multimeter, if the multimeter have high input resistance then it is safe to test signals
if we use oscilloscope, then we must use isolation transformer to power up oscilloscope

Interestingly, all my multimeters are from the fluke brand and one of them is exactly the same as yours(179).
Very good multimeter, even so (although it has an input impedance of 10M,but, since once a mosfet inexplicably exploded within 10cm of my face... "my legs tremble" :) .
Yes with the oscilloscope in this case I use an isolation transformer.

At 6:50 , the function of IGBT pairs seems same as of Push-pull in Audio amplifiers and also same as Half Bridge in motor direction control circuits , am I right?
My welder is using SG3525 to drive a pair of 40N65BU IGBTs.But I am wandering, how my welder is specified 200A as IGBT max current limit is 40A?
Excellent video, I think that the first thermistor is one of a PTC type instead of a NTC, that would explain why electric welding machines sometimes TURN ON and some time later it TURN OFF and repeat over and over again when relay switching fail. With a NTC, the welder will turn on and would work across the NTC until it burned because high current working.

I have this kind of welding machine. There is SG 3525 IC for switching, there are two potentiometer in controlling module . What is the functions of them.
Is that for fine tuning of oscillation frequency.?
Is that for close loop feedback?
Actually I disturbed the default settings of both potentiometer. I need to set at original settings. Please advise me how I can do.
There is one another potentiometer to select desired amperes, that can vary from 18 amps to 200 amp.
How I can get variable voltage at output. Right now I can get only variable amp . I want to modify my machine. Please suggest me.

that 2 potentiometers on control board
1 pot is used to set maximum current limit
2nd pot is used to calibrate the shunt resistor's close loop feedback (it adjusts the feedback of op amp) for adjusting the pulse width of PWM IC
