Over time you get used to it until eventually every death you have feels like your own fault. That's the loop that makes the game addictive imo, I have cherry on it and still find myself returning basically every session, which I can't say about some other games I cherried. Magic garden is just an awesome game.
Damn. I got a high score of around 27k but I only ever had like three or four potions lying around at any given time before using them to clear out the map from the blue ones. I also made very long trains of pink ones and then killed them for lots of points, but I never thought to keep the combo going for as long as possible by saving as many potions as possible to the end. Great work
3:38 is scary because angry oppie was blocked and if I took that left oppie there is a chance it could move in that freshly cleared space and kill me. I've had it happen before so I decided to be safe. In this instance, it would've been fine since it can be seen moving right just before I jumped upwards
So fun to watch I had no idea the potions changed to gold after letting them stay for awhile. What is the difference between potion colors? Also I noticed you just cash in the pink blobs whenever, is there a science behind how many you decide to do or just keep it a low number between 2-4?
Red makes angry oppies clearable. Green adds +x1 to the current combo multiplier (stackable) Blue also makes mushrooms clearable Gold permanently adds +1 concurrent pink oppie spawn. Each level also includes the effects of the lower level potions.
It was answered in another comment but mushrooms spawn if you don't drop off oppies for too long. The exact trigger appears to be allowing the drop-off zone to change locations without dropping off anything.
mushrooms spawn in if you spend too long without dropping oppies off. since they're constantly dropping off a small amount at a time, the mushrooms don't spawn. you can see mushrooms start spawning once they go for the final combo at around 7:05
it was dropped outside of the zone, but for whatever reason the game places the angry oppie on my position. Likely because I had a tail in the position where it was. happens frequently
No over-drops, very few burns, and beautiful routing on the final combo. Amazing work.
1 overdrop at 3:30, but yeah really good
@@yubbo3 and at 4:57 and 6:00 but who's counting
What are burns in the context of this game?
call him g money the way he cash those opps

I love how you reach a point where a single Puyo is worth enough to get the cherry
Crazy that this game I find not only frustrating but very odd feeling, that I can still see someone do so well and appreciate how well they're doing.

Oh I was going about trying to get a high score in this game all wrong.
Brilliant execution
1:01 woah that's a neat trick to optimize your pathing a little bit
also 3:38 lol whoops

@@NoHitRunscrazy that you were able to make that call on the spot, its such a split second calculation
This run is wild.
Bro is hitting all the WRs he can
GG!
I never thought to get multiple potions! I was playing a VERY different game
Pretty nice man
There's always the one guy who ruins the leaderboard on the arcade machine for everyone else
Jokes aside, thats a great run. Super impressive
So fun to watch

@@RMidcat you got green and blue mixed up
@@NoHitRuns I just went back to check (before checking who actually posted this reply) and yep, you're right. Fixed.
@@RMidcat thank you!!!!

Does anyone know why the mushrooms only started spawning so late in the game? Is it tied to the amount of potions youve used?

What is preventing mushrooms from spawning?

@StarPunch I see, thanks for the info!
Why didn't the Oppie you dropped in the star area at 7:15 get saved?

Man I haven't been able to get more than 2,000 points lol
nice. no splice
Shut up
