thank you for the tour, so nice to be able see what accomodation is like ! I'm thinking of coming to edge hill next year and wanted ask would you say people are really friendly there - I can be quite shy at first so I worry about making friends! Any advice you can give about student life there would be huge help, thanks :D
Hi! So glad you enjoyed! I personally think it’s such a good place for shy people as it’s not in a huge city but you have the options to go to Liverpool and it’s quite close so there are tons of places to make friends! And overall I’d say people are really friendly ☺️ xxx

Hey! Awww I’m so glad! So I personally have a single duvet as the rooms are BOILING 😂 but I do know somebody who brought a double and she liked it fine but she’s a naturally cold person so she needed it 😂 I guess you’d be fine with a single, but it’s more a question of are you planning on living on campus for all the years or are you moving out as you could end up with a double bed in second/third year and need a double duvet! Just have a think about these things and base your decision off of that but you’d be fine with either💗💗 xxx

Hi, I’m so sorry to bother you and I’m aware this is an older video, but I’m wondering how you go about applying for Halls in uni? My partner can’t remember and I’d rather be prepared haha; thank you
Hey! Oh my goodness don’t worry at all😊 So the way it worked for us is we received an email once we had accepted our offer where we put our top five halls we wanted (areas of campus not specific buildings) and then when we got our grades and had gotten into uni properly we received an email with our designated hall! However, this year there was a system where you got assigned an hour slot and there was a website that let you choose a specific room that you wanted and rooms were released in waves so if you had a later slot you weren’t at a disadvantage. I’m not sure which it would be this year and this is obvs just for edge hill but I hope this helped! Xxxx

I don’t even have a top five :0 , I either want Main halls, chancellors or Palentine haha. But thank you for the insight, thays quite good. So do I have to state those, or rather the building names? And Was there an application that you have to fill out which requires you to say a bit more about yourself? Like another personal statement, in a way? Apologies for the questions!
