Cut off the bad company and get new friends at Church, of course your former friends will never understand you BUT that should not upset you because the Bible says so in 1Peter 4:4-5 NLT version it says '' Of course your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do, so they slander you but remember that they will have to face GOD, WHO WILL JUDGE EVERY ONE BOTH THE living and the dead........''PLEASE READ ON this whole chapter of Peter, the Bible also teaches us in 1 Corinthians 15:33 , that '' Do not be deceived evil company corrupts good habits'' KJV and the NIV Bible version says " Do not be misled bad company corrupts good character, come back to your senses as you ought, stop sinning, for there are some who are Ignorant of God......etc and then prophet Amos wrote in AMOS 3:3 '' Can two walk together if they do not agree??????'' You need new people in your life who will encourage you on this new journey you are beginning and no one should deceive you ,it is not an easy journey.
