I am in Houston. Sad to see you go because you were very helpful to me for our type of gardening. But I will continue to follow your channel. Best to you and your family.
As far as gardening goes you're right. The pests, the heat, and the storms make it very difficult. My squash/zucchini got decimated almost entirely by vine borers, my greens got decimated by worms etc. but my tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, okra, and eggplant did very well with daily attention to horn worms, aphids, beetles, the list goes on etc. Thank you for your help in my Houston garden.
I have loved watching your gardening videos and look forward to equally inspiring ones from Pittsburgh. Take care, and best of luck in all your future endeavors. Love and hugs!
Houston is a hard place to live, the traffic will never be missed. We hope you have a prosperous garden time in your new location. I'd be planning as much as possible in the layout of beds.
Wow Jeff I'm sure going to miss you. I understand why you would make this move, I remember the floods a couple years ago that had us here in California praying for you and all the other Houston residents. I have learned so much from you about gardening that I've started calling you uncle Jeff. Lol.....seriously, I pray your transition from Houston to Pittsburgh will be smooth sailing. Lots of love and prayers from this end. I look forward to spending 2021 with you and learning new things from you in your new environment/city. Tight hugs!❤
I wish you the best in life. We learned and will continue to learn from you. Just remember, you helped people worldwide. What a journey !!!! All the best my friend.
Good luck on your new gardening adventure from Louisville , Ky. We have Winter to deal with here also. Sometimes it's a welcome break; a time to renew your soil with mulch, compost so that when Spring once again arrives, it's a new adventure with better soil!
Pittsburgh is the best! Every season! You can give everyone many, many great videos of Phipps! We'll be happy to have you and your family here! I'm in the South Hills! I'm assuming your building North?! Enjoy!
Thanks for the videos and memories in Texas. Good luck with the new opportunities gardening in Pittsburgh. Thanks for showing about Shishito peppers last year. Hasta luego, senor.
I guess everyone has different experiences, I moved from Southern California long known as a gardeners paradise to the Orlando area in 2016. I have found gardening to be easier here. Ample rain and humidity seem to cause everything to grow like crazy. It’s like a year round greenhouse. I was careful to grow the things that did best in my climate. I think that helped too. At any rate, safe travels.
Thanks for the ride, it’s been great! All the best as you turn the page and begin the next chapter. I’ll be looking forward to your next video! Happy gardening 🌱 Keep plowing
I am looking forward to your move. I have enjoyed your channel while you were in Texas for years. I believe I will enjoy your channel even more when you are in Pennsylvania. Why? Because you will be in the same growing zone as NJ! Praying for your safe travel and successful move.
Good luck! Looking forward to the garden updates from PA as you're closer to me in CT. Looks like you'll be starting tomatoes and peppers indoors this winter.
I lived in Austin for 8 yrs and the heat was tough on my garden. Also the bugs were very hard to control. Of all the states I have lived in, I disliked texas the most. Its a personal thing but the heat, the urban vibe and the traffic was not for me. All the best in pittsburgh.
You will be missed! Gardening in Pittsburgh will be a breeze after this. San Antonio is even tougher than Houston. It's hotter and the ground is either caliche or solid rock 6" down.
NOOOOO! I just found you! You were the only guy that talked about my garden problems !!! Best of luck to you and your family!!
Thanks for sharing your gardening tips. Best of luck to you and yours in Penn!

Well cool now u will know what it's like for frost to kill your tomatoes instead of heat.
I garden in Md..we will be in similar zone..lol
Don't goooooo!!!!!!
Houston weather is not representative of the rest of the state. it's nickname is the Bayou City for a reason. It's converted swamp land
Whattttttt that's messed up... Why in the world would u want to move back there..... It sucks lol
