When I'm on the Tanner journey step, I tend to skin a couple of Crocodiles because apparently Crocodile hide yields more leather. . . .I'll find out in my 2nd episode ;)
I like to start near The Flame in the North in L13. As well as two chests on top of the lighthouse, there's also a sunken one in the nearby cave pool which gives some very nice starting loot.
I love Siptah! It is much harder but with better rewards. This is the same area I usually build my base too for the same reasons you do. I recently started a new file but I chose to start in the south west to switch things up a bit.
There is a serpentman vault on the east side of the map just below new Luxor and the mobs in there drop serpentman weapons and tool. They are equal to steel. Usually go in and bleed the first few mobs down with stone daggers til one drops serpentman daggers then it’s a snowball. Also if you kill the jailers scattered around the map they drop silent legion armor. You can basically have heavy armor and steel weapons faster than you can could lvl and unlock them
Jailers no longer have Silent Legion, after the recent update the jailers seem to wear armour based on their location/faction. So for example the one at River Watch Keep now wears Barachan Reiver armour. Still free heavy armour, but not as good as it used to be 🤘😎🤘

Hi Angaar I kind of ruined the game for myself. Ever since I found out that I can fast travel by making myself an admin, walking around feels pointless because I keep thinking, "Why not just fast travel?" So, I make myself an admin and go wherever I want, but this has taken the fun out of the game. Now I don’t know what to do. Not fast traveling feels like a waste of time, but fast traveling makes the game so easy and boring for me.
You should play on a server. It makes the game challenging again. I still keep my single-player save for testing things out, but the real fun comes from playing with others 🍷
I did the same thing on the server my hubby and I run. My sadness comes from the fact that all the people, including hubby, that got me hooked on Conan have moved to games that I’m not interested in playing.

@ I had no idea it was changed. I don’t play siptah much and on exile lands I always just go for the beserker and his armor drops
@treebirdtv yeah, they changed it on Siptah when Age of Heroes introduced the Jailers and cage to Exiled Lands

You need the less building placement restrictions mod.

I was going to suggest same thing Six. Much more fun to play with other plus you cannot be tempted with admin shortcuts. 😅
