At Mike’s restaurant he’s going to have brochures about VPNs next to the hot oil on the counter when you check out. And there will be his stuffed dumplings and T shirts behind the counter for purchase. Then he’ll open for breakfast and serve cereal.
TJ's is definitely the best Filipino buffet in the Houston area. Glad you got to try it.

Hey Crohn's partner! I totally agree! I only have 1/4 of colon left and any fresh fruits/veggies or fiber kills me! Due to Mike's videos I have expanded my Ramen ingredients but really supposed to eat only protein and carbs! Summer kills me, made a bunch of fresh corn on the cob for my kids and ate a small one, paid the price, but sooo good!

Your first bite of kare kare with Barrio Fiesta Bagoong is a bomb!!! It's a rice killer dish
I wish more restaurants would offer buffets or a sampler plate so people can try out different dishes that are new to them. I'd rather get a small portion of different dishes, than to order something and not eat it because I don't like something in the dish.

I bought shepherd's purse here in Toronto, Ontario, Korean grocery store. They also have bracken and perilla. I love vegetables. These are only available in the Korean store I shop in. It's enjoyable to eat Asian vegetables not native to North America.

To be Honest, as i watch you getting all the food ... i just keep telling myself, that is how my Papa cook that Giniling (Ground Pork with Peas) , Bikol Express, Adobo. Caldereta (the tomato base stew), Halang-halang (the Soup with beef and tripe), Paksiw, Kare-Kare, Dinuguan, Calamares, Lechon Kawali and etc. ... It seems like i am in a FIESTA where i am giving myself a hard time what to eat first and what not to, to make myself not to be full in an instant.

FYI paksiw is not a soup dish... some provinces in the Philippines cooks them a little dry... less "sauce".... puto and dungeon goes well together. its a merienda for us.

Kaldereta is the beef stew, the other pork dish is bicol express, if that is humba, it is sweet savory pork dish, nice filipino restaurant, looks yummy😋🇵🇭❤️

You should also give DECO CAFE Filipiniana a try! They're in Leon Valley, Texas. The food there is definitely home cooked!
