It's ironic that a game with a highly frankensteined firearms design (at which is commendable cause not many games does that instead of fully fiction or realistic designs) can get a SPAS reload correctly than most other games.
? What did they get right? All he did was put the shell into the chamber first before loading in the shells, I’ve seen a lot of games do this with shotguns and even siege does it with the Spas 12 on a empty reload
0:43 I like this reload animation Cuz you need to hold down the carrier to load a shell but correct me if I am wrong I just remember 2 games got correctly reload of SPAS 12 is a R6Siege and BOCW
Firearms, like the grappling hook in the first game was more of an afterthought rather than a proper feature. Hence the mediocre gunplay (Although aside from reload anims, DL2 gunplay isn't all that great either)
@@L_Lawliet1907yeah I was really hoping they would stop doing the stupid R3 aiming thing and add an animation for aiming that isn't just moving the model closer to your face. But otherwise the guns feel much better because of the improved animations
I'm curious. Is there any game where you can mess up the magazine's insertion or at least not looking like, you reloaded the newly acquired pistol 3000 times already? I haven't played with DL2 but it would seem like our protagonist is a really skilled gun enthusiast.
Which is ironic, since the first game's protagonist is an actual military operative, meanwhile the 2nd game's protagonist is a lot more "scrappy" (either has never used a gun before or if he has, he's not properly trained)
The State of Decay games. In the first one, They take forever looking through their pockets for ammo if your firearm skill is low. In the second, They struggle to get the magazine or rounds into the gun if your firearm skill is low.
That's funny because the game with "goofy ahh reloads" is more entertaining, polished, and overall better then the game with "better reloads" which is also a rushed game that needed TWO YEARS to add some of the things that made the first game awesome and fun (I regret buying and completing Dying Light 2).
@@Snake_eyes0 What are trying to prove here with your "womp womp"? That Dying Light 2 was sh!t from its release and even after 2 years of content is still incomplete and worse than Dying Light? If that's what you mean then yes you are right, and if you are just fanboying a mid sequal that should have been better than the first game from its release then you should consider having a better taste in video games.
how'd u feel if i compared the kid u with the current u... thats exactly wht these videos r .. comparing dl1 with 2 XD ... lol 2 will always have more details

1:07 Rust smg my beloved
glad dying light 2 has better reload animation after watching numerous videos about reloading and cooking the animation
1:07 Hold on the Second WHAT
Yep, thats the Rust SMG. The AK is also in there.
The makeshift smg and ak came from Rust DLC
Which makes sense why in there
they did a really good job with dying light 2s guns
I gotta say. Techland really cooked here with the reload animations

Man, DL2 for firstly lacking of guns really has great animations!
yet the story is not what we expected to be
@@lautarogomez9711 damn, this sucks
the release was not the best but dying light 2 is actually better than the first game now. this is coming from a hardcore dl1 fan.
I like DL2's gun anims, they remind me of Metro Exodus.
I thought the exact same thing
I love how the subtitles is just pointing out the flaws of the guns in dying light 1😭 luckily they did improve the animations largely in dl2
My new favorite shotguns 💥 0:26 0:29
just another reload video....
0:57 WAIT WHAT !!!!
Wow, Dying Light 2 really improved the animations!
Just now realized some of the models in Dying Light 1 use Rust models lmao.
i noticed the shotgun reload animation being slower which makes sense because aiden really shouldn't be experienced with guns that much as crane was
Cool 😮
I remember when i first played Dying Light 1, they had the exact same reload animations as Dead Island 1
I must say, they really fucking tried making them feel so fluid for the second game.
Damn the first games reloads were cringe
Yeah that was the reasone i didnt use firearms ofthen

Techland made decent Wild West games. And the best zombie-apocalypse rap star.

Are sone of these mods for dl1? I cant find gun mods for that game
You have to finish the lost armoury quest

@@el_gatoNegroits as good as it gets my man I think he did womp womp cause it didnt meet your expectations n stuff 2years later
You kinda forgot the Hunter's Crossbow in Dying Light 2. Not your fault, really.
dying light 2 needs more guns.
At 0:55 why is he holding the gun like that
Who else really don’t care for the guns in dying light 2
Dying Light 2 looks better
Dying Light 1 feel like recycled Dead Island animations
Fun fact: DL1 was supposed to be Dead Island 2.
