If I had to choose nowadays I wouldn't buy the 7900XT despite I really want to support AMD as a competitor. The 4070 ti Super is superior by far especially when it comes to ray tracing.
Benchmarks are ok but I don't think they tell the entire story of what a GPU is like to actual play games with. The Ti Super here appears to stutter quite a bit which makes it difficult for me to buy it with confidence.
Hello, that is our fault caused by recording only at 30 FPS, we have already fixed this, so "newer" footage is recorded at 60 FPS. So it is not something you will see while playing. Thanks for understanding.
It would be better if you had a Amd cpu instead of intel You could have used AMD S.A.M/Smart Access Memory Which it depends on the gaming performance gains It can range to 5% to 20% depending on the game. It's not just nvidia who has features too.
Smart Access Memory is available on Intel as well. It's a motherboard vendor thing whether they support it. And that doesn't even matter right now, since the rest of the PC was the same, so with or without SAM, the results are comparable
This 90W difference isn't a problem if you have enough PSU juice, also, the AMD card feels smoother IRL (also shows in some 1% Low graphs) and has better color production for whatever reason, if you're not planning on using RT, just get AMD and call it a day.
@@fiha4186amd isn't 300 dollars cheaper though, it's like 50 dollars cheaper. Honestly it's pretty much a tossup between the two cards one isn't really "better" the 7900 xt has more power draw, much worse ray tracing, and less features. The 4070 ti is slightly more expensive, has less vram, and does marginally worse in raster. There are pretty good reasons to go for either.

the power draw on amd gpus.
so happy with my 7800x3d and 4080. best purchase ever.
why did you get the 4080 super when it is the same price and has better performance
@@mxrkzghost855they have the same performance
@@Bnd002pno the super is like 5% faster
4070 ti is clear win in terms of performance per wattage, but in terms of cost price 7900 xt is better suitable
Don't forget it's also a clear winner in ray tracing. RTX is just a card you go to for ray tracing and amd for pure performance
If it was 50 vs 60 fps I’d pick AMD, but at 120 vs 140 it’s worth the hit to get better RT and features. Enjoying my 4070Ti since a year now
Im not for either but lets be honest.. uhm. Youll see the price difference once your electric bill comes through
@@cloversalord2385i never use ray tracing on my 4070’s , and i plan to switch RX since i never use RT
So this was the 4070 ti and not the Ti Super? I guess so since it showed 12 gigs of vram on the last of us. And not 16 or 20 gigs.
Why is the left side so stuttery?
I guess it is very very very hard to indicate whether those fps are with rt on or rt off

I dont think it's a TI Super. I think it's just the TI

That's like using DLSS on the NVIDIA side.
Why everywhere with rx 7900xt image is lighter?
It Probably has to do with different times of day in each test....
Or could be because of different recorders.

Jesus 100Watt more power draw on the 7900 xt. thats really much, you will not need a heater anymore..
Is Starfield a good game?
It could have been. Alas its repetitive, downright boring at times. It could have been SOOO much more.
wait until the DLC at the end of this year to play it if you have other games to play.
Until you beat everything
Still going with nvidia...
Why? AMD is the clear winner and 300€ cheaper lmao
