Nice video and thanks for sharing. Could you describe the difference in the overall tone between this and the microbass 2? The 3 sounds like it has a very wide range of tone just like the 2 but the 3 has a different drive sound. I actually like this drive sound better than the 2. I really like the thick tone of the clean circuit on the 2. It's my favorite preamp pedal that I've had so far. It's as good as my old GK Plex but just a little different and definitely been reliable vs the Plex. Mine just gave out one day without warning.
@@SaimoN_bass that's understandable. Aside from the drive channel on the 3 being just better I think both sound good and close to each other. I like the built in aux out but I'm not sitting here with my 2 thinking I got the wrong one. How are you enjoying your 3? Is it something that you think you're going to start using for your recording or playing live?
@@garrydhintz8017 I think the highs are also a bit better on the 3, more smooth. I don't play live anymore. It's a great unit, but I'll stick to my SVP+RBI combo. Letting this go to fund more toys to experiment with;]
Wow! Lots of options! Great sounds.
Thanks for the demo, very helpful!
Thanx
Awesome demo 😎🤘🏻🎸 this preamp pedal is incredibly versatile. the clean channel sounds nice and punchy. And the distortion channel sounds killer.
Thanx mate!🙏 I dig the clean tones more.
I don't get it. How are you simulating the svt cabs?
Probably great preamp, versatile, great looking etc. But tonewise not my cup of tea at all.

Thanx🙏 Sorry, I can't tell the difference between 2 & 3 - had the 2 just briefly long time ago.
