First, I thought, that demonstrating the "funny" moments about such a tragedy, which was depicted in this film, especially on the International Holocaust Day is very very inappropriate and unacceptable... Then I pondered, that laughter cures emotional wounds and the best remedy against the depression and melancholy...
...And now I consider, that such quasi "funny" recollections episodes MUST NOT be "showcased" on the Holocaust Day... Probably, it is disrespectful to the memory of The Shoa Victims...
...Even without wearing Prado it sounded , felt and looked Devil like... diabolical...
I like all the roles of Meryl Streep too.
The way she built up "Alan is, one of the great things about him is that hes so attentive, its almost as if his nervous system is hooked up to the nervous system of the actor... He lives the part with me" 😂
That made the story 100 times better

Meryl Streep is my favorite actress period. People who know me, know I don't even want to talk to you if you criticize her. Sophie's choice is not only my favorite Meryl Streep movie, but it is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love all her movies, but her acting in this film cannot be matched. It is such a moving film in so many ways. I watch this again and again and am still in awe each time.
I watched Sophie’s choice aged 12 and it has stayed with me to this day
To think while filming debatably the most heartwrenching scene in cinema with perhaps the greatest actress alive, the director himself was asleep

My immediate neighbors are Jews and I am a Jehovah's Witness.
Their hearts are superior than pure gold by far. They are extremely kind.
The gentleman takes care of my trash can every Wednesday without my asking him to do so. They are lovely human beings, and they are not in need of the smallest improvement.
A god that wouldn't stop what the Allies stopped ain't a god I'd worship. He's in fact the same god that the Nazis believed in, and the Vatican at the time collaborated with.
