Hi Guys, I hope you enjoyed this piece of content, I'm still a newbie at vlogging so please let me know how to improve and remeber to drop a like to allow me to bring more content! :)
Love this video and love Chieti. I have dear friends in Chieti who I used to visit annually from England. Now I live in Australia and find the travel too long. It was good to see Chieti again, thank you Rino. The Arosticinni looked pretty good too
It is quite the travel from Australia, I agree! I wanted to do Australia and New Zealand for my honeymoon but the flight was crazy, so we ended up in Japan :)
Wow. Great job. I appreciate si much that you face the camera forward so we can see what you see instead of the camera toward you. Grazie da Texas come sempre ❤. Non vedo l’ora di abitare in Abruzzo ! Un vero sogno
Oh my heart... Chieti is charming and enchanting... and the azure sky compliments the incredible architecture! The BBQ portion was so beautiful accompanied by the music you chose... Thank you Rino for a much needed escape to contentment!
Thanks! Will try, time is not much but I will continue to try and diversify the content, these videos don't do well in terms of views but I think they are needed :)
That was so much fun! Your family is so cute! The city of Chieti is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of people around but not too crowded! I love that. What types of meat are in the arrostocini? I am guessing pork, lamb, and beef? Thanks for doing this vlog!
Chieti is absolutely a beauty. That's the place, the province I'm looking forward to move to. Also Giulio is adorable! It's no bother to hear him on the background.
Hello Rino - you did a great job promoting Chieti! I think you are right that it is a bit overlooked - but maybe this is the reason that it has kept its spirit unspoilt. I have visited Florence and Venice and of course they are very beautiful but surely Chieti is the real Italy. I hope you will show us some more of it when you can. Best regards - and I hope everyone enjoyed your party! Steve
Well said! The state of the city brings tears to my eyes, so much wasted potential, it's criminal! Glad you enjoyed the video! The party was fine, everyone eat a lot, no one complained, I call it a success!
I absolutely loved this vlog Rino ❤🇮🇹 More like this please. The only advice I can give, I haven't already given is answer your wee lad in Italian as I don't understand Italian but it sounds amazing. Thank you for sharing your life, I can't wait to experience a small part of it in person ❤
ahahah, you're right, I should reply to him in Italian, I will see if I can involve him more. You know that we have a reserved space for you here, just book the flight!
Sounds great, my job is to at least tickle your imagination, if you previously weren't considering Abruzzo but now you are it means I'm doing something good!
I'm hungry!! The arrosticini looked absolutely wonderful. Chieti has some gorgeous architecture. I'm in Germany, I'll have to look for a supplier who delivers to my area. Love lamb, but it something one rarely gets here.
Very interesting video thank you for the walk around town. Also, the meat it was a minimum of 45? You had to buy 45 sticks? That’s a lot but I guess they are small portions.
Yes! So, the portion are from 20grams to 30grams so actually it wasn't too bad, I alon eat around 25 to 35 each time. Normally you don't have those constraints but I had it with that guy, ahahah ,what a legend.
I'm going to study abroad in Italy January-July 2024 and I can choose between Rome and Chieti. I wanted to go to Chieti because Rome is so big and busy and loud, and I want to be close to the sea. But it looks so quiet in Chieti, I'm a little worried.. Can you tell me how the nightlife is, are there any nice bars where you can meet new people? I'm 25 (from Sweden). And I don't have a driver's license, will that be hard? Do you know if it's possible to buy/rent a little Vespa without a driver's license?
Hi Naomi! Cities could not be more different...Chieti is divided in Chieti Scalo and Chieti Alta, Chieti Scalo is not bad and you can easily find nightlife in Pescara which is beautifully connected with the busses (every 15 minutes). If you don't have budget contraints, definitely go to Rome, for 6 months only it's the best option. Every week you will do something different, but really depends what kind of life you like having.

The butcher dude not very friendly I gathered......Good to see you Rino
Ahahah yes! Just a legend
Thank you for the tour of Chieti. Backyard came out great, beautiful.
Adoro piazza duomo. È bellissima!
Beautiful town. Thanks for bringing us along on the walk!

Beautifully done Rino!! Enjoyed the tour of Chieti and your sons sweet little voice in the background
Thank you so much, so much has happened to this city that has damaged the economy, really a shame!
Wow. Great job. I appreciate si much that you face the camera forward so we can see what you see instead of the camera toward you. Grazie da Texas come sempre ❤. Non vedo l’ora di abitare in Abruzzo ! Un vero sogno
Thanks Katerina, actually I should do a mix of both, but I'm still new at vlogging, trying my best :)
@@OneStopAbruzzo you are doing great. We love the sounds of the city and your sweet boy. 100%

Thank you!! I'm limited with the music I can choose due to copyright issues, but if the channel keeps growing I'll improve that as well :)
I heard a lot of good things about Chieti so it was very nice to see it.
My wife and I love arrosticini. We had it at a wonderful place called Perilli Arrosticini when we visited. It was incredible.
I think I've heard about them but never went there, they are in Teramo province?
Absolutely love these VLOG videos Rino - Keep them coming!
Thanks! Will try, time is not much but I will continue to try and diversify the content, these videos don't do well in terms of views but I think they are needed :)
Love these walking videos!! Chieti is so lovely, and it was really nice to have your commentary on the various shops and public spaces! 😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it! I will try to bring more content!

Thank you so much for this great comment! Arrosticini are made of sheep meat :)
Chieti is absolutely a beauty. That's the place, the province I'm looking forward to move to. Also Giulio is adorable! It's no bother to hear him on the background.
ahahah, thank you! He wants to be the star, you will hear more from him on the next vlog :D

So glad, will try to bring more! :)
Great job Rino. You live in a beautiful city with great food. I'm looking to buy in Lazio, Tuscany or Umbria, but have not ruled out Abruzzo.
Sounds great, my job is to at least tickle your imagination, if you previously weren't considering Abruzzo but now you are it means I'm doing something good!
Your son is adorable! I liked to hear him talk.
Now he talks even more!!
I'm hungry!! The arrosticini looked absolutely wonderful. Chieti has some gorgeous architecture. I'm in Germany, I'll have to look for a supplier who delivers to my area. Love lamb, but it something one rarely gets here.
Hi! When I was living in Berlin I had arrosticini delivered there! Send me an email, I can find the supplier :)

Gorgeous city, in a stunning setting. Can you share affordable places to buy in Chieti?
Sure! Apartments? Send me an email with the details and I will make sure to support you! Onestopabruzzo@gmail.com

Agreed, forgetting our history dooms us to repeat it - we learn from our mistakes.
(and that was a very striking looking building)
❤
