Oh that bug you mentioned about not being able to select a technology to research on the same turn you steal one, I encountered that in my own game yesterday in fact. However, if you finish researching a tech on the same turn you steal one, if you choose a tech to research before clicking the stealing notification, the 'steal tech' screen will appear the same as the 'choose next research' screen, allowing you to "steal" any tech you're able to research regardless if the civ you're stealing from has researched it... Just something interesting to point out :P
Onondanga AND the Porcelain Tower next episode? Jeez, these last 2 episodes have been nothing but momentum. Suddenly you're toppling a world power and spying your way to the scientific throne.
Hi Marb. Thanks for your inspiration to this great game. You should consider a game with Marathon speed, maybe as The Huns. It makes it "earsier" to focus on early domination style. Playing myself as Greece on European Map on marathon speed now. With Athens as a real "Petra/Faith from Desert tiles" dream now. great fun!
Happy Holidays Marbozir! I have a question--how do you feel about the "Community Patch?" I know you did a playthrough with Communitas some time ago and am wondering if we might ever see something similar with the CP. The changes look very interesting.
That's a common misunderstanding that you can overcome the great wall's effect by the time you discover dynamite yourself. It's the actual BUILDER of the wall who has to discover dynamite. Makes no sense, i know, but well... :)
The presence of great war bombers in Germany was probably what you expected and formed part ofyour decision not to attack Germany without anti air units. If you can get Kathmandu to take Akwesame, they'll raze it enabling Argos to expand and not hitting your happiness. Taking Onondaga should give two boosts to happiness - one from the city and the other form the lessening of cultural pressure. You'll take less of a warmongering penalty with Egypt and Germany because they're also at war with Hiawatha. Using your workers to start building the road to Onondaga would be the best use for them right now. The whole point of rushing the Porcelain Tower is to complete it before the research agreement with Germany triggers to get the. if the great scientist will come before the research agreement all to the good, but it's not the reason to use the great engineer. Germany being flipped away from Order would be a major bump in the road to victory and Germany is not that far from -20 happiness. The quicker Onondaga is taken the better.
LOL. "I'm about to get Open Borders from him, but not the way he expects."
Hiawatha is going to have a bad time.
Happy holidays Marbozir. I wish you and your family all the best during this time
Merry Christmas Marbozir!

Awesome to see the war Greco-Iroquoi war go hot! Onandoga will be an awesome addition to the Greek Empire!
Cheers, Ivan :D
Great episode, finally the war began.
wait to rush the porcelain tower until you get your great scientist
Doesn't the great wall become useless when you get dynamite? It is kinda buggy where it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Happy Holidays!
Ah i see never noticed that. Although it doesn't make much sense that way around.
Nate Christie Wow, that makes no thematic sense whatsoever, and is extremely frustrating.
Nate Christie I agree, although having the Great Wall and Flight and having no dynamite is really good for a human player :)

Great episode no need to say any more

doesnt the artillery tecnology make the great wall obsolete??
