ABANDONED Swimming Pool Country Club / Pool still full of water

Welcome and thanks for returning to my channel.
Sorry about the wind noice my external mic has not been delivered yet.
Today I went and found an abandoned swimming pool at an old country club.
This didn't end up being my first abandoned pool but my second.
This is the first pool I have found still filled of water though which made some amazing photos.

In the 80's to 90's we had to walk through some sort of clorine foot dip to go into the swimming pool at school, that is what the trays are for in the changing rooms. Love your videos x

Hi Jay! The huge cylindrical metal structure is the sand filter for the pool....and that holds a lot of sand for that sized pool!

Well I’m not surprised it’s closed down with are English weather lol most out door pools was closed along time ago nice find not seen anyone else there you must be the first to film
Agreed 😂 the need for outdoor pools here 🤔 not so much anymore. My friend has been there to be honest but I don’t think he filmed. He took some totally amazing photos though. Thank you 🙏👍
cool place .. must still be in a good neighborhood.. no graffiti ..pentagrams, homeless peoples dirty clothing and empty booze bottles.. or poorly drawn male anatomy on the walls. The usual stuff. Sad those days are mostly gone now.. I remember as a child motels with an out door pool when on a road trip.. that is almost unheard of now. well done..

The structures still look good. Don't know about the pools tho. Wonder why no one tries to rehab this nice property?
Very true. I’m not sure to be honest but you are right. All the builder where solid and still structurally sound. Outside swimming pools are getting very rare in the uk and we don’t have the best summers so people don’t tend to go to them I don’t suppose. I got some amazing photos here but can’t help feel it’s a bit helpless and risky having water in. I get it’s fenced well but people can still get in and kids could fall in and have tragic outcomes. Hopefully never though 🙏
I'm not sure, but those big blue round things may be filters that the water would run thru as they would fill the pools, to filter out any particulates.
Aw cool. Maybe kind of like the boys village video at that pool I did. That had sand filled tanks as a subscriber mentioned years back they used to use sand filled tanks as filters or something similar to that. Thank you for that great info 🙏👍🏻
with the shower tray to walk through before u get in the swimming pool its to sterilise your feet most still like that so u dont need a full shower before hand it was the same thing as the swimming pool but slightly stronger clorine in it
