Randomly saw this video in my feed, I hit the subscribe button as soon as I heard you advocate and support mental health, and in particular men's mental health. Great quality content as well, keep it up brother! And if you originally filmed the content in 4k it would be great if you uploaded in 4k too, the cinematography deserves it :)
This is so epic...I'm just mad at myself for not making this happen instead of just thinking about it... you only live once. Love everything about this 911. 😎
Wow beautiful 😍 I have a 3.0 Carrera from 77 too 👍🏻 but I turned it on fully rally version ( Gr4 ) and I compete in historical rallys here in Italy 🇮🇹. That engine is special! Obviously I can't use it on the street but I still have every single original piece. Eventually I'll turn it back to street version and transfer rally components into a new project!
That sounds amazing @vanny-castle4016! Very, very cool. You got a YT channel or Instagram so we can check out your car? Also, massive thanks for watching and liking and commenting, and please feel free to share the video around...🙏
Hi @wernerengel4919, Thanks so much for watching, for your positive feedback, and for your encouragement. Whenever people say you can't, show them you can... 👊 Take care and feel free to share the video around!
Massive thanks @ReDriven - very cool to see so many positive comments. More to come once this stupid eye is mended... Take care and I hope things are good🙂
So good! Hugh's passion for cars (and most things in his life, it seems) is great, and I could listen to you both talk for days. Josh posted in a skateboard forum we both used to frequent that his brother had bought a 911 and it wasn't until maybe 15 years later that all the dots were connected! I agree with the comment about the sale of the 996 GT3RS, that is THE DREAM car and it was great to see Hugh enjoy it as it should be.
Finally found some time to sit down and watch this through. Great first ep, Dave! You can tell both you and Hugh really know your stuff and are super passionate. It's amazing what even a quick 5 minute spin behind the wheel can do for your head space! I've told my partner that my retirement gift to myself is a 911. God knows what they'll be worth when retirement comes knocking in 20 years or so!! Looking forward to the rest of the series mate. Brilliant job 💪
Massive thanks @deganellis - very much appreciate the kind words and positive feedback. You might end up blowing your retirement on just getting a 911, but even then, it might still be worth it haha. As for more eps... that's definitley the plan, just gotta get this busted eye sorted out. Peace out legend👊
This car is damn beautiful! I have 77’ 2.7 that’s a euro spec (euro spec is big to us Americans). My dad bought the car when he lived in Germany in 1982, he was the second owner and I have been the third for about the last 5 years.
AH-MAZING @cjsawinski! How cool is that? Now I gotta get to the US so we can shoot a Behind The Wheel on you and your dad's car...🙌 Cheers for watching and commenting and hopefully you'll share the video around for others to enjoy too.
Very great video Dave! Happy to see you again! For your next videos, it could be possible to fix a camera on the pedalbox to film driver's footwork please? :)
Hi @constantinrenoir8273 and thanks for the positive feedback - always appreciated. I think driving the car on the road rather than the track makes for possibly less exciting foot-cam shots, but it's definitely something I'll look into doing on other videos in future where possible. Thanks for the idea though and cheers for watching🙂
@@DaveZalstein Great, thank you for your answer! :D Footcam is always interesting on the road or on track. Firstly, we see the driver's techniques, but also the characteristics of the car. So it will be still interesting, don't worry about this Dave. ;)
@@constantinrenoir8273 Oh man, you're making me want to make a whole film of just foot-cam haha. I'll see what I can in do, in the meantime, you can watch my green Nikes go crazy on this heel-and-toe vid: ua-cam.com/video/wuofBKEcD4s/v-deo.html
Hi @charleswhitfield8915, in short, you can - in Victoria at least - provided the cage and padding etc meet specific VicRoads guidelines. Worth looking into for sure👍
Hey @danielamhof6150, it's a WEVO Shifter, check out more options here: www.wevo.com/Products/ShifterProducts/WevoShifterProducts.htm Hope that helps and cheers for watching.
It's so funny that the Ford Escort has such a different reputation in the rest of the world. In the United States, it is an underpowered, cheap, absolute trashcar. So unfortunate for us that we've largely missed out on the hot hatch eras of the 80's and 90's.
Definitely a fun car @jeffshappard8227, but also fun because they're often (or used to be) underpowered, cheap, and an absolute trashcar haha. Cheers for watching and I hope you enjoyed the vid🙂

You're a legend @gavinr9107 - a thousand thank yous!
Glad you liked the video and hopefully you'll share it around🤝

Owning this vehicle would indeed have a positive effect on my mental health.
@@Richard-Reloaded everyone should have one then I guess...😉

All the best.
Great video. Love listening to genuine car folk chat about great autos.
Thanks so much @fixedandwelded - stoked you liked it!
Now to get a BMW on here haha.
I love the 911 Tartan seats and the checkerboard style later on.
The whole car is on point, ay?

Two awesome blokes and an epic car. Great work Dave.

Cool video. Someone told me once (not sure if it's true) that 200 HP in an aircooled 911 is like 400 HP in a watercooled one.
Cheers @alk3myst! As for aircooled hp v watercooled... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A sensational video Dave. Looking forward to the next one
Cheers @gregkruse2389, me too! Just need this eye to cooperate...
Fantastic video Dave keep up the production quality and good stories
Cheers Brad - very much appreciate it. Will keep working away as soon as my eye permits it…👊
Tremendous stuff, Dave

Get rid of this ugly black rubber bumper guards and plastic stretchpiece, and paint the bumper in black.
It’s his car @blueskylite, let the man roll how he wants…🤷♂️
Learn how to pronounce "Porsche"......berk!
