Definitely have to check out majority of these Swedish Heavy Metal bands! Scratch and Volt was the only ones I was familiar with from the list. Great video, looking forward to some more!

Again an exciting video from Ruthless Metal. My nerves was stretched out but relaxed in the end when Zone Zero recsived a high rating. Many interessting covers in this video too. Lezlie Paice would get the Nobel price in Art if I had my wish.

Seems like Slayer "borrowed" Hels riff for Show No Mercy's "Tormentor", it's identical. Just like the "Raining Blood" riff was borrowed from Glory Bell's Band "Flight Back Home", another swedish band.
I doubt Slayer heard these obscure european records. :)

I think I only ever had four or five of these. I really like that Grave single. These were hard to come by in the USA. The best chance to have any of them was to have some on the Pang label. Others were impossible to get.

Just noticed: there's very little to nothing on the EF Band in your videos about Swedish metal. Do you have something against them? And yes, I say that because I like them.
they were in the documentary. I think they were alright, the third album was their best.

Intressant! En majoritet av både banden och låtarna hade jag inte en susning om. Men svensk hårdrock växte på allvar under denna tid och massa band dök upp med demos, singlar och något större material. Men det var nog fortfarande ganska amatörmässigt och självproducerat, men för ett metalfan låter det hyfsat polerat och tufft nog.
Jo jag har gjort en 2 timmars dokumentär om den Svenska hårdrocken med. Jo det fanns inga pengar i det, mest banden själva som finansierade sina släpp.
