And checking in at the ferry port was fun and interesting. And your lunch choice of the simmered pork belly looked delicious. So glad you made it on time to board the ferry after getting a bit lost.🤭 The ferry itself was beautiful inside and out. And the Sato Island Gold Mine and history tour was fun and amazing. And how cool that you came across one of your subscribers at the hot springs bath. And what a delicious dinner and dessert. Sado Island Special Seafood Don and chocolategold coins. This man has a deep connection to and appreciation of great food. The only part I would customize is a fishing rod and a few hours to enjoy the incoming tide. Absolutely beautiful views and a wonderful trip, all done from the comfort of that well-cared-for "antique" car. Truly, a few days refreshing for the soul.

新潟は亡き父の故郷、父は上京以来ずっと東京暮らしで、娘の私は新潟にはあまり訪れたことはなく…コロナ禍が落ち着いたら、行く約束をしていましたが、父は急病により急逝し、叶わぬ約束になってしまいました😢
父が故郷で見た海を、遠くで見ていた佐渡を、旅家さんが父の代わりに連れて来てくれて見せてくれた気がして、朝日のシーンで想いが溢れて涙が出ました🥺
